Just found this. Dark Matter by Monoprice 34in Curved Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitor - 1500R, 21:9, 3440x1440p, UWQHD, 144Hz. [monoprice.com].

Monitor looks identical. Specs look identical. I wonder if this Acer is using the same panel, which Monoprice claims is a Samsung LSM340Y05 VA panel, which itself features Quantum Dot Color.

Any ghosting/smearing? Performance on shooter games? Keeping or returning?

Typing this on this very monitor. The edges have the less bright light so it shows that the panel is not evenly lit to towards the edges which to me gets annoying.

I'm returning and looking for another one.

Good find! The rear oval panel covering the VESA mount is identical, as is the input panel at the bottom. Looks to be the exact same panel in the exact same casing.

Excellent and thanks! What GPU? Mine's coming on Monday and I'm hoping my new rig (amd 3800x with RX5700XT) can push out 1440p at med settings. I mainly play CoD games like Modern Warware and upcoming Cold War.

RTX 2080. I'm sure you'll get good performance with that system!

Should I get 2 of these? Anyone recommend running 2x 34 inch UWHD? I am putting together a Karlby Desk this weekend.

Got 2 of these arms for this - better than cheaper amazon ones.

any of you tech experts out there know how I can fit MORE on the screen? Mainly for thinkorswim application? I have resolution set to 1920x1080 on a 1920x1080 screen but thinkorswim is still too big. I want to scale down to shrink but scaling is already at 100% it won't go any lower. Any ideas?

Windows it self has 100% scaling as min. BUTTTTTTTTT
depending on your graphics card you can do custom, although i wouldn't recommend
IF you have NVDA. you can do Integer scaling , not from windows but from NVDA control panel.

hope this helps. if im wrong, im sure a bigger nerd than me can make corrections
older junkier models like mine wont have int scaling.
