These pictures look great but I'm still hesitant to order due to uncertainty with price adjustment and the fact that's it a VA panel. I've been on IPS 27" 144hz for a while and love it.

Same. Text is crisp on this monitor. If somebody has issues with fuzzy text, they might want to consider getting an RMA replacement. It's less perfect than a slightly higher PPI 4k/43" monitor that it's replacing, but this is good. 👍

This was my biggest hesitation. I've been an IPS-or-bust guy for a few years now. This doesn't look out of place at all between two IPS displays flanking it on each side. Is it as good as them? Not sure - it's only been powered on for 10 minutes. But does it look out of place? Not at all. This is a good display.

Do you play any FPS games? I think we're all curious to hear how it performs in fast-paced gaming. Last VA I had was only 75hz but had issues with smearing and ghosting.

1.) have you noticed black smearing in hour game? 2.) What game is that?

No smearing or anything at all. THis is Divinity: Original Sin 2. Also been playing Titanfall 2 for a bit. Looks and runs beautiful.

Not primarily FPS, but some. Will try to get some pics this weekend for this of the UFO test. I did a quick test now and it ghosts much more than my 144Hz IPS, but it's not a fair test yet since I'm only going over 100Hz HDMI. Routing a DP cable is a pain that'll take me some time (standing desk with lots of cable management in place).

HEY GUYS...

ANYONE RAN INTO THIS ISSUE WHERE MONITOR IS STUCK IN 60HZ OVER DISPLAY PORT?

See screenshot. I just upgraded from a 32" Acer Nitro (also via Costco) and using same display port cable ...with my 32" monitor, it was running at 165hz (over display port). Even AMD and windows settings were at 165hz.

With this new monitor, it's stuck at 60hz!!!! I've rebooted my computer as well ...GPU is a Radeon 5700XT.

TIA!

Ouch that sucks! Maybe recheck your dp cable and then drivers, would hate to think you need to RMA it Frown

PHEW! So I had to go in windows display, then "List All modes" and then manually pick 144Hz. As soon as I did, both AMD settings and monitor HUD is now displaying 144Hz.

Funny the 32" Acer Nitro (now passed down to my son's rig) didn't needed that adjustment.

Gonna install MW and see enable the fps in-game and see if it's truly 144Hz or I have a ekked up monitor Frown.

Cheers brother!

ok...some thoughts.

This is my 1st ultrawide so for fast paced shooters like Modern Warfare, it DEFINITELY needs some adjusting (VS widescreen monitor). It's just the extra horizontal pane that you need to get used to . In all honesty, if I were a competitive CoD player, I'd stick to widescreen only.

However, playing games in ultra wide aspect is something (as long as game supports this resolution)!

Color production is very good (very comparable to IPS). I'm using HDR mode via the monitor hud.

Lastly, you need some serious GPU power for gaming at 3440x1440 at higher fps!

For reference, my rig is AMD 3700X with Radeon 5700XT with 16gb ram and in MW, I'm averaging around 80-90fps, however, game is totally fluid...this is at mix of high/med gfx game settings. I think with some textures down, etc, I may be able to push past 100fps.

Really no complaints at this point. Stand is ok for my needs. It's a brightass monitor as well!
Even if this gets out of stock and the sale never happens, I'm gonna keep this.

Some screenshots for your pleasureSmilie.

I was able to replace the USB-C-to-HDMI cable that was causing issues with one of my computers in order to test PBP. As reported before, it works fine, although the resolutions have to be manually set to 1720x1440. (On two MacBook Pros over HDMI) This is not ideal..the Samsung 34" that I just returned sent the correct EDID information so the computers made the switch automatically.

The image quality more than makes up for this little quirk though. Overall still very very happy with this screen.

Do I need to be a Costco member to order this? If so, can I sign up online or do I need to go to the store to complete the process? Thanks
