What's the chance Costco will cancel this Cyber Monday deal because some of you mofos decided to buy it all within the 30 days return period in order to get the difference on that day?
What are the odds Costco will use the money "we all decided to spend" and purchase even MORE of these monitors to ship out and make even MORE money on Cyber Monday?

I've returned a $199 Wifi router earlier this year with no box/receipt. Costco store was able to pull it up from my membership and I had bought it back in 2016. They gave me full store credit and I ended getting the Nigthhawk router.

My 3 yr old HP monitor(Costco version) bricked and I took it back (still had box/receipt) to store and again, no questions asked. Got store credit for $299+taxes and I bought the Acer 32" Nitro.

I do know some people may get anal on such returns but I'm also a premium member and I spent $2-$5k easily every year and almost all TVs/electronics are purchased at Costco, mainly for ease of returns/exchanges. I'm pretty sure Costco does keep a tab on higher dollar returns (and trend if u show up every month buying/returning stuff).

That being said, I also do not return every single item that breaks after 2 years. However, I've personally witnessed someone returning 5 yrs old dirty paddle board and Costco returns issued them full refund.
Looks like abuse of good store policy, technology changes every minute, today same spec 1440 will be half the price tomorrow, this does not entitle anyone to keep it for 1 year and then return for 4k or whatsoever. All the best to you, hopefully you get the point.

People keep posting confusing comments..

1) You can order the monitor now for current price
2) Since this is online exclusive, you CANNOT get price adjustment in store (Store will simply ask u to return it).
3) To get price adjustment , you have to do it ON sale day (if this ever happens). Nov 30, ..goto Costco website, sign in and fill out the price adjustment form
https://customerservice.costco.co...com-orders

4) From what I was told by CSR, as long as the item gets on sale (regardless of stock), Costco will honor the price adjustment (as long as it's filled out while promo is active in their system).

5) The difference will simply get credited back to the original form of payment.

Hope this helps.

For non-gamers, I mainly use laptop for words, excel, Netflix, editing video, do you recommend this? I am wondering if I should get VA vs IPS, flat vs curved.

Thanks for the link. But it seems they only have drivers for windows. Nothing for Mac.
I also connected to my Mac via HDMI to USB-C cable and it recognized the monitor without any action from me (see attached).

A few initial observations ...
  • Good
    • Color and quality for office work on Windows and Mac is good / equal to other VA panels from LG, HP.
    • Gaming on Windows is great. (Call of Duty, 2070 Super, 144Hz).
  • Not So Good
    • Acer Display Widget - Windows only. Clunky. Cannot access / change all settings for different modes. No documentation. No way to change Aimpoint.
    • OSD - Cannot change settings for different modes. Does not allow changing Aimpoint from default style or color even though 2 other styles appear.
    • PnP/PbP - Can only be enabled via OSD. Could not get it to work. Monitor locked up.
    • Speakers - Nice to have in a pinch but sound quality is not that great.
Even with the poor software / OSD experience, I plan to keep the monitors.

Then most likely the culprit must be my USB-C Hub. Thanks for the info.

What do you all think? I bought my kids a new Alienware desktop with an i7-9700 with an RTX 2070 Super. Are they going to be happy with the frame rates of Call of Duty type games running at 3440x1440? Or should I just get a 2560x1440 monitor? I would rather just spend the $50 more for this as a good long term purchase but if they are going to be complaining about the frame rates I'll settle for the lower resolution. Thanks!8.5.2

I run a 1080ti which gets similar performance to a 2070 super and it performs fine at 3440 x 1440. I get about 80FPS on COD, but I'm not competitive or anything. Looks great and runs fine on most games, can always dial back settings if needed. I have a 1440 monitor as well that yes performs better, but the ultrawide is definitely more immersive.
