Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

How is the LG one?

I just boxed this up to return to Costco. Not sure what monitors people are used to looking at but this one is one of the worst screens I have ever used.

1. Text was painful to look at. I tried to work off the screen for an hour or two yesterday and couldn't stand how jagged and fuzzy text looked.
2. Colors are awful; I attempted every color correction option combination possible and just couldn't get it to look anywhere near true.
3. The back lighting on dark scenes is very visible. Looks like 10 spotlights coming down from the top of the monitor.
4. I could hear the coil whine on this monitor over the fan in my tower, never experienced that before.
Much better, definitely worth the additional $50, I have been using the Dell 34 with IPS panel but my wife wanted an Ultrawide monitor too. I'm trying out the LG one to see if I like it better than the Dell. I can say that the text ghosting on black background on VA panel is definitely a thing.

Don't want to scroll through 80 pages of comments so if someone can help me out, i'd greatly appreciate!

I am using this monitor for wfh purposes. I am connecting my macbook with the hdmi cable provided but the words seem fuzzy. The resolution was set at 3200 x 1800 which was the best looking one out of the many options. Any advice?

You referring to the 35wn65c? I've got it sitting on my desk for a comparison to the Acer. You know, when it shows up, since we're now on Day 11 of "In transit to the carrier".

I also got the Samsung one that Costco had for $269, and while it's a nice monitor, the LG is definitely noticeable better. Just not sure it's $230 better. I have high hopes for the Acer, but from the complaining I'm seeing in this thread...eh.

That resolution is 16:9, not ultra wide (21:9). The native resolution is 3440x1440.

Under the 'Display' tab, hold down the OPTION / ALT key while you press on the 'Scaled' button alongside Resolution to reveal all available screen resolution options for the display, and check if 3440x1440 is listed there. Choose a refresh rate of 60 Hz or above.

If that doesn't work I'd try switching to a displayport 1.4 cable, it has higher bandwidth to take fully advantage of the resolution and refresh rate the monitor supports.

Just got this yesterday and I can't seem to get the colors right no matter how much I play with the RGB adjustments. There is a reddish hue that I can't eliminate without distorting the other colors. Has anyone else encountered this and been able to fix it?

What monitor are you using? Are you sure the resolution is set right? Are you using hdmi or dp?
I'm typing this on mine, text is very sharp and and colors look natural out of the box to me. No coil wine either. Sounds like yours might have been broken.

I've tried with 2 different computers using HDMI cable provided and it won't recognize the screen as ultrawide 21:9. All available options are 16:9 under Windows display properties and limits to 30 hz refresh rate. This makes the monitor unusable. I'm getting a RTX GPU soon and will try out the DP port but I can't imagine why HDMI is this bad. Particularly, I'm using the same computers via HDMI to my Dell U2719DC and it works fines 1440p60 so i know the HDMI port is not the bottleneck.

I've tried reinstalling the Intel UHD630 drivers to no avail

I'm running 3 MSI Optix 144hz monitors and a 43" Samsung 4k off of an AMD 6800.

Had the monitor hooked up via DP. 100% certain the resolution and all settings were correct. I ordered 2, one still hasn't been shipped yet. I'll wait until the 2nd one arrives and hook them both up to compare.

Same, I finally got one for Saturday. The tracking information from Costco website does show up differently than the UPS website.
