HD has the slightly better battery kit (6.0 and 4.0, both 21700 based), but this deal includes different tools. I wish they did this one with the 6/4 setup but still a solid offer. If HD offers your preferred free tool though, I would go with that kit instead.

The 4ah is the slim pack. Useful for balancing some tools better. Fits in pockets better for many tool cases. The slim 3ah and 4ah tend to be my go to for since they have the right balance of weight/power/convenience/.
