"7.3 Mixed Usage
The LG NANO85 is a decent TV for mixed usage. It performs best as a gaming TV or as a PC monitor thanks to its low input lag and good response time. It's not the best choice for watching movies in a dark room since it has a low contrast ratio, poor black uniformity, and a bad local dimming feature. Luckily with its IPS panel, it has wide viewing angles if you want to watch a show or the big game with a big group of people."

Just got my x90ch , aka the x900h 85" this past weekend. Image quality punches way above it's price point. I had a few reservations about reviews saying it could be brighter or the viewing angels weren't stellar, but it's plenty bright to me on a room with direct sunlight on the tv itself. At night we literally have to squint when a white screen appears.
Have not noticed viewing angle issues, but the size of the tv probably helps. Screen reflections are more pronounced than my outgoing samsung qled, but the image gets so bright you never notice it.
The FALD is absolutely excellent. Fired up gravity 4k and blooming is super controlled without crushing highlights.
No wifi issues like people hAve been complaining. One issue I did run into was motion clarity occasionally turned on even when setting was off when I powered the tv on. Not reason enough for me to return and hoping firmware will fix that as it's a documented issue.

1. OLED by LG (Sony's panel is LG panel)
2. QLED 80/90 by samsung
3. if not those two, just get Hisense
Supposedly coming back for that price at Costco and BB. Already been 1500 something a few times

Love to get the Hisense if they made a 75 inch. Also no HDMI 2.1 for my new shiny PS5 and XB Series X

I was planning on just shelling out the $1800, but if I can save $300, I'll wait a few weeks.

I'd wait. Heck the 85 inch will be 1900 at Costco on 11/20 also
Pass on this and the Sony and get the TCL 75Q825 when it drops to $1500 again. (MSRP just dropped again today)
