This is really good book. Got the physical version this summer, and really upped my grill game. This is a fabulous deal and I would pounce if I didn't already have it.

I bought this a few years ago -- have a charcoal grill and a smoker. This book is so good. I highly recommend it.

I have a couple of Stevens older books, but honestly, I have never made a recipe out of them other than using his sauces and dry rubs as basic guides for my own.

Steven is good for beginners to smoking, but if you have a handle what your doing or are looking for odd and unique ways to smoke you this site instead. https://www.smoking-meat.com/

I have this book and it has a good well rounded recipes (I.e. not just meats and poultry, but deserts and cold smoking cheese too). Be careful if you try the smoked turkey recipe. I've overcooked 2 turkeys "following" the directions. Not the book's fault, just watch the bird's temp like a hawk or it will climb past your goal temp too quickly and dry out the bird before you know it.
