Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Gen II 18-Gauge Brad Nailer with HIGH OUTPUT XC 8.0 Ah Battery

Currently there is free xc 8.0 battery with the highly regarded brad nailer for $279 which itself is good.

But if you buy in store the price gets divided as 162 for the nailer and 117 for the battery. That would be the lowest price for the nailer in history.

If you are in store, find the brad nailer with model # 2746-20 and high output 8.0ah #48-11-1880, ring up to $279, return battery make nailer 162 only.
2x4 trim?? A framing nailer would obliterate any trim on Earth.

I went to the store today and bought the battery and nailer separately and returned the battery. No big deal. Still working as of today. I had to return the order that is one SKU that I got online as you have to go INSTORE for this one...

need help... in need for a brad nailer, I have a few dewalt tools (drill/impact and just bought the circular saw/jig saw and will have a couple batteries)

the dewalt nailer is 200 without batteries and I can use what I have

or this one that comes with a milwaukee battery that may be allows me to get into other milwaukee deals later?

what would you guys recommend?

thanks!

They are both good. However I think the Milwaukee is a tad better IMO. It doesn't ramp up like the dewalt as the Milwaukee has a nitrogen air tank. I tried both and liked the Milwaukee better.

I also have mostly Milwaukee but also have ridgid, ryobi, and craftsman power tools.

I don't think anyone can answer this for you, do you want to stick to one brand/battery? If so then $199 is cheaper than this deal because you will need to buy the Milwaukee battery. If you don't care about brand and want to get into Milwaukee then you would have to spend more now to get the battery.

I don't believe you would need the large battery that this deal comes with, so you could take advantage of this "hack" and return the larger battery and purchase a smaller battery somewhere else for as cheap as possible. Or if there is another Milwaukee deal hack for a battery that is better for this tool you could do that "hack" just for the battery and not the tool.

I was in the same boat as you (except several Ridgid tools/batteries) but didn't like the reviews on the Ridgid Nailer. Someone here pointed out that this deal doesn't come with a charger. So I picked up this deal and also the deal where you get two 4amp batteries, charger, and bag plus 1 free tool. The. I returned the free tool (just picked the most expensive one with that deal) and then the 8amp battery and ended up just below $280 for the nailer and battery/charger set

Sound alike you have dewalt, stick with them unless you are losing money. Dewalt is fine and won't cause you to lose money. They have great options for chainsaws too. You picked a good brand, don't let us Milwaukee fanboys/fangirls change your mind.

It's not exactly a secret deal. They still have displays in the store advertising this deal.

So glad I searched and found this thread. About to undertake some home projects that will require a brad nailer and I would so much rather have a cordless one. Just did this at HD today and worked like a charm. Was tempted to keep the battery because it's a pretty decent deal even before hacking but I figured I have enough batteries. 160-something before tax with the deal after return of battery, incredible.
