Weird how how Sony has Edu discounts with BH Adorable, Focus and this, but never with Amazon.
zeiss on the other hand if its not a zony (most of sony zeiss lenses are made by sony), is well, made by a totally different manufacturer with diff lens design etc so it can be better built, have different characteristics like you said, color being one of them and often focus speeds, noise, etc.
obvious stuff but higher price generally gives you better quality but in today's photography world, the diminishing return is like no joke. spending hundreds more for a supposed improvement that no one besides you will notice. so keep that in mind.
Weird though, in order confirmation page, each item correctly shows coupon applied and discount, just that the subtotal does not equal to the sum of each discounted price.

I'm broke and a college student that can barely afford pizza if anyone need a discount code.
I'm also a grad assistant so I have 2 edu account. That's 2 codes. lemme know
Bought it last week. Impressive auto focus. Great entry vlogging camera with webcam functionality. Short battery life; caution to run the ZV-1 as webcam you may look into a dummy battery and cage so tripod can be used while battery door is open. Excited about this camera, and you can get it for an even better price than I did.
I ended up buying from Focus Camera instead, the prices were about 8-10% less than BuyDig. Most of the lenses also qualify for the "Sony buy more save more" rebate, which knocked another $300 off the two lenses I got
