I've been watching the A7IIi deals everyday for months now. In the past 4 weeks this camera went from being $300 off normally, to being $400 off for students, then briefly $500 off, then back to $300 off, then briefly $500 off again, and then that deal vanished last night and this is the deal I woke up to.
These student deals have been fluctuating up and down, but this current offer for $540 off retail is the best price I've seen. For those that don't know, you can't stack student discounts with corporate tax exemption at B&H.

Yes, their verification system (ID.me) does accept High School students, and teachers of any grade - (My wifes a teacher and we already did ID.me verification for Verizon so it was fairly easy). I've never bought from Focus before, thats my only hesitation.. I have used B&H and Adorama before so was hoping to stick with what I know, but after the BS with Adorama I think they are off my list for a while. I spoke to someone from B&H today and they confirmed, they only accept college students/teachers, not High school (even though others with the same Verification program, UniDays, do work with HS)...
*Update - The Focus rep said their website should be updated shortly, it should match what the other retailers are offering it for.
Its my first time purchasing from Focus and its a good first impression.. I like that their EDU works for high schoolers, and I didn't get the runaround that I got from Adorama.
I got one edu mail from ebay....but how to register on focus site it is asking to upload college enrollment documents for verification purpose

I just use my old class schedule and edit the dates using paint lol. I havent been to school in 4 years.
