If only it was 12 thread I'd pick this up in a heartbeat. Still holding out for a 6 core with 16 GB of ram and a 1660 Ti or Super for 599 to 649.

Don't listen to him. No way this could have hit 250 to 400. The gpu itself was released 2019 at $200

Only if it was a wild goose chase YMMV clearance. No way that was regular price with stores having plenty.

Definitely would take this cheaper one if I were you. You can almost flip the i5 and get the 9900K for maybe an extra $70 or so over the Costco model if you are concerned about threads. Or the 9700f/k and still pay less.

The graphics cards are a wash and I wouldn't pay $150 for hyper threading.

I just can't imagine you noticing any difference in normal use between them.

Now if the Legion has better cooling and better PSU, maybe we're talking, but specs to specs I would save the money.

This is honestly a pretty good deal.

PROS - Sub $650 gaming system that can handle most of today's games pretty well, warranty (and a 2-3 year warranty add on is inexpensive).

CONS - small power supply (180W-210W-310W...assume this has the 310W) and very limited upgradability

4 year warranty at Costco. 10th generation.

But still kind of high. I am in no rush. I think if the price was under 600 I go for it.

I saw the costco model but I think some of the reviews were kind of bad.

If you see any computer with a small power supply...run away. And a power supply you cannot upgrade. I got 4 brand new Antec 650 watt earthwatt power supplies sitting in my closet when you could buy them for 30 bucks after rebate.

Damm...I think I should just go to microcenter and build it myself. Or buy a gaming laptop.

300 bucks for board, chip and memory same as the one on sale. I already have the other stuff sitting around.

I think this is the correct link for the model number: https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/I...90LW00AUUS. It looks like 2 x 8 GB take up both DIMM slots.
