Home Depot has the DEWALT Steel Drill and Driver Bit Set with Right Angle Adapter and Tough System Case (35-Piece) on sale for $14.88 w free delivery.

The right angle adapter normally sells for around this price so it is a good deal if you are looking for bits.

They released a new version of the bit adapter and it is on sale for $20 at a variety of places so I am assuming they are just trying to get rid of old stock.

There seems to be a bit of confusion in these comments, so I did a bit of research. I don't claim this information to be 100% correct, but it is the best information that I could find.

One poster said the right-angle adapter was #DWARA100. This is not correct. That model is older and visually different. Another poster was correct in saying that it is actually #DWARA60. The other similar model that Dewalt currently sells is #DWARA120, which is black instead of yellow. Now, what is the difference between the 60 and the 120? Hard to say exactly. From the exterior, they are identical. Both have a 1.5" depth, both have a hole in the back to push the bit out, both are magnetic and impact-rated. The packaging for the 60 seems to claim 5x longer life. The packaging for the 120 varies between 5x and 10x. On the Lowe's website the packaging claims 5x longer life, but in person the packaging says 10x. (5x or 10x of what, I don't know.)

Anyways, the main difference seems to come down to weight. The 60 is about 5.29oz while the 120 is about 6.67oz, according to the website linked below. This difference in weight appears to be primarily in the gearbox, indicating that the 120 probably has beefier gears and will hold up to more abuse, especially from impact drivers. Nobody on the internet seems to have taken apart the gearboxes to confirm this theory, but it seems likely.

If you want more information on the subject, the Q&A on Lowe's and Home Depot didn't have any good answers, but the comments section on this [toolguyd.com] post were very helpful.

Also, ignore the information on Dewalt's website regarding these adapters. Their information seems to be outdated.
Wish I could find one of these with a left angle adapter
Daaaad!

the one on sale (which is very hard to find in stores) is an 90 degree right angle adapter used on your drill. It is used in tight spots. The drill bits are not worth much. The adapter normally is on sale for $20 and this deal with both the items is a good gift item.
Thanks, I just wanted the 90 adapter but wasn't sure if the bosh was better or not . I bought both,

Can someone tell me what the extension pieces on the right are for? I have this set and I thought the bits on the left go inside them (they fit), but they barely go inside and are so floppy and fall out easily

They are not extensions. The far right is a bit holder for the bits on the left. Second and third from the right appear to be nut drivers, 1/4 and 5/16.

Nice...don't need all the bits as I have plenty but want to have that adapter for those times when you need one and don't have one. And can't ever have too many bits. AND, I had the location in my store texted to me and got a five dollar off coupon... Can't beat it.

This is a good deal on a handy little tool. Not something that you would use every day but will save you lots of time and frustration at the times you actually need it. I needed it last week when I replaced sprocket in the garage opener. It is held with three screws, one of which is hidden away, accessible only with an angle screwdriver. And I missed this deal! Well, almost missed it. These are sold out everywhere. Gone!

The following worked for me: I went to a local HD, found a DeWalt display box with this deal printed on the box and took a picture. These sets were gone, but there were in that box DeWalt drill sets left at the same $14.88 price (not a good deal on the drills). Then I picked from the shelf a similar looking DeWalt driver bit set and a separate DeWalt angle driver [homedepot.com], took the two to a check out and asked politely if I could get a price adjustment on the two since I missed the combined set for $14.88. I showed the picture on my phone. I was prepared for my request to be rejected, but got OK from head cashier and the price adjusted to $14.88 for both items.
