I've been on the 8gb + 17gb walmart/At&t Prepaid plan for over a year and it looks like they're still offering it. 25gb of full speed data with hotspot for $40.00 per month is still a pretty good deal. Ya just need to purchase a cheap prepaid phone from them. I actually ended up returning mine after I got the 17gb bonus data.

Verizon Prepaid is heavily deprioritized in crowded areas.

These look like decent, single-month commitment options without much hoops to jump through. But I agree the Walmart plan is better at $40 and even the yearly $300 ($25/month) is better for the lowest price; that $300/year is 8 GB plus rollover and tethering. The catch is that you need to port in and have to commit for the year. My wife just renewed her yearly plan for the same price.

How do you get the 8gb + 17gb plan you're talking about?

Decent deal with a high data cap. Be aware of this in the plan details:

This description isn't present most of the other prepaid plans and suggests this plan will disallow HD streaming (likely anything above 480p) entirely on mobile data.
Good catch. Seems you are right.

Thanks. Looks like it is only available for new lines. I already have a prepaid line. It doesn't seem to let me switch to yearly plans.

I have two lines on the $50 8GB + 8GB bonus with rollover plan. With multi line and auto pay is this better or the new 15gb plan in this deal?

Nope, AT&T Prepaid speeds have been the same as Postpaid for as long as I can remember.

Someone above said it's not available anymore but I haven't checked lately. Here's the monster thread that started in 2019:

This 25gb for $40.00 does seem to be active now: It's under Special offers

my existing plan $35 got renewed few days ago and i just tried to change the plan to $30 for 5 GB data. its asking for a new payment, while i am processing the payment something went wrong. now the numbers are in 'inactive' state (all group member lines too).. tried calling ATT customer care they are now closed.

be aware if you are trying now...
I seem to recall someone posting a while back that the primary account manager must be on the highest plan in the group (or the same plan as the highest plan) or it messes everything up. I think someone tried to add an unlimited plan to a group when the account manager only had an 8GB plan and it wouldn't work. Maybe when you lowered your plan, you are no longer the highest plan in the group.

I checked visible web site. It says starting from $25 but then shows $40 for the cheapest plan.
What is the name of that plan how to get it?

No. Always charged taxes. But you can get around it by funding your account using prepaid cards.

Yes. Usually you have to port out and port back in to take advantage of a new account promo, like the Walmart 25GB plan, but for a regular price plan, they can convert your account.

First month is $40 and then you join a group which brings it down to $25. It's easy to join a group and each person is billed separately. https://www.reddit.com/r/VisiblePartyPay/

I just now moved to visible from att postpaid and so far happy with it.
