Placed the order and it says - we must confirm your number transfer within 3 days of ordering or your order will be cancelled, anything else do we need to do at this point?
I'm on the same boat what's next? I confirmed the account numbers

A silly question, as I have an unlocked Android phone, and not ready to use the newly purchased iPhone SE yet. So after activation with the iPhone I received, can I just pop the sim and put it in my Android phone, and use for 6 months, then request unlock the original iPhone? Will Cricket detect my iPhone not getting used during these 6 months, thus decline the unlock request?

Same for me as well.. they asked me for PIN number again.. but I am pretty sure they PIN number I provided while placing order is correct.. also, if you don't activate the phn after delivery.. the number will never get ported right and we can keep using on existing network.. any thoughts if that will work??

So is it limit to one per address? I'm tempted to order another one, but haven't done it yet as I need to find another number to port.

If I am going to create two accounts to order two phones (one for me and one for spouse), can the first account refer the second? If so, can the first account refer the second immediately after ordering or does the first account need to be activated before referring the second?

That's not true. I purchased three iPhone 7's in a similar deal last year. I just threw the SIM cards in the trash, never activated. Didn't get charged any extra.
Thanks for the info

yes I bought $7 each porting number from ebay
When you buy a port in number do you have to use that on the new account? I would like to keep the number I have now with AT&T. Is that possible?

Thanks for replying. Like turning on the phone without the SIM card. Keep the SIM card and activate it later (may be a long time later), because I really don't need the SIM card. I was thinking of when my friend come to visit me some day (For example, one year later), they might need a temporary phone, so I active the SIM card and use the service for only one month.
No, if SIM card not used within 30 days, account/value disappears.

The good ole days of being able to activate a phone, stop paying and then 6 months later it unlocks is gone (I did this before with MetroPCS). So I get you actually have to have 6-7 months of Cricket service to unlock this phone. But after you activate, if you move the SIM to a different already unlocked phone, and put the iPhone SE in the drawer till 7 months pass, will you be able to unlock?

I'm hearing no, the system requires ongoing activity of the actual iPhone, which makes the phone $110+tax to start ($50+$60 plan) and then at least another $65 (2 months at $30 + 1 month at $5 with the referral) == $175 total outlay to get unlocked, some of which may not be useful if it's not going to be your actual phone service.

For me wouldn't mind using Cricket for a few months especially since it's still mostly stay at home, etc, but would like to put into my Pixel 4A from Google FI (which is unlocked to start) while I wait for the iPhone to unlock.
Read the first 36 pages and the last 5 page but this is as close as I will get to find my answer but need confirmation.

Is the unlock policy with Cricket that you must have active service for ~ 6 months so they can unlock it for you? Or is it like Verizon that after 60 days, (in this case ~180 days) then it gets unlocked regardless if no service? Anyone. TIA
