Dint know there was an offer for 1 year apple tv
Me either but I setup my iPhone SE from the Total wireless deal on wifi that came yesterday and I had an alert on my iPad 1 year free of Apple TV. I also read that you get a free month of hbo max but to time it with the Wonder Woman 1984 movie.

One thing I didn't like is I went to cancel the Apple TV subscription in my apple account and if you do then the free year ends immediately. Worst case I forget to cancel next year and get hit with a $4.99 monthly charge.

No. As long as you meet the 60 day requirement you should be fine. After that you can put another cricket Sim. Once you use it for another 120 days you can get it unlocked.

It does not only count the days when active. I've had phones off for weeks and the unlock days continue to decrement. If you put the SIM from that line in another phone, that would reset the countdown. It's tied to the line more than anything, so if you take out the SIM and put it on a table for 180 days (actually closer to 175 days in my experience) it will still let you unlock the phone. If the line lapses in payment or the phone/SIM are used on other Cricket lines/devices it will reset.

Using an RSIM in this phone would have nothing to do with Cricket because the phone isn't registered on their network at that time.
I'm glad you put that out clearly as there were quite a few incorrect statements made about this thing in this thread. You are right except for one thing (going by my experience). I don't think the countdown will reset if you use another cricket sim in the phone. I got iphone 7 from a similar deal around August, after activation never used the phone and just a couple of weeks back (that's after around 90 days from the purchase of the phone) I started using that phone again with another cricket sim card. The countdown never got reset. As of today it says 73 days are remaining for unlocking.

So will any of the unlock services on FB and online work in unlocking this phone after a month?

Oh! I never thought about that. I'm guessing you must be able to use the phone with your other sim as long as you first activated it with the original sim that it came with and also pay for the two months. Again that's my assumption. May be you can chat with CS and ask them if you can swap sims.

I thought my explanation covered that, but it might not have been clear. Yes, any registration of the phone or SIM on their network apart will pause the unlock countdown. SIM in another phone or another SIM in this phone. The SIM line must remain paid and active through the 180 period consecutively.

+1 I just chatted with Cricket and they confirmed that changing sim to another Cricket sim will not reset the clock

Any reason the boost mobile numbers won't work online? Some of the ebay sellers have this:

EVERYNUMBER IS GUARANTEED TO WORK

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CRICKET ONLINE PROMOTIONS!!!! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FOR THIS!!

Please port these at store, online is not guaranteed to work or go through.
I purchased from one of the sellers with this line in the description. I actually read the line after purchasing it so had no choice to just go with it. Apparently, the port worked but I still have not received a shipment confirmation email.

Target also selling top up cards buy one get one 20% off. Can get to the $95 (after switching to 30/mo. and 25 referral credit) needed to unlock phone for 85.50 if you use red card and get 2x$50 or 83.40 with red card and get 2x$40 and then pay remaining 15 yourself later
