I have a double sink that connect to the main drain like the T section... any tip to run the line down the drain? my line keep running straight to the other sink lol... thanks
Man this is tempting.. says factory blemish would this still have full warranty and everything?
Factory blems are essentially new and come with the same 3-year warranty as new tools.

Remove the trap. If that isn't where the problem is (it usually will be), then snake the drain line from there.
I bought this, thanks! I saw some people complaining about the longer detachable tips but then also see that there is a 4 piece set at home depot for about $25 .. seems kind of pricey haha hopefully i can find that kit somewhere else cheaper.

Direct Tools also has the 4 Pc tips for $15.99. I bought the auger and tips, along with several other items.
I've never used one of these before, and I am admittedly not handy. I've always cleared sink/tub clogs with with those disposable short 2' snake products, or a small plunger, or by removing the PVC pipe just under the sink.
I've never needed anything longer....do most people end up finding a need for this? I'm inclined to purchase at this price and learn if it will likely prevent a plumber visit -- just unsure when I'll actually need this for my own house if I have not before.
How many of you have needed this for your own home?

You answer your own question. You don't need this. But it is easier to unclog and if you already have the battery system, than not a bad idea. It will pay for itself in time savings in 2 - 3 clogs. But to each own. I'd love to get this. But I want to keep my cash more. So I pass on this.
Than again I'm already thinking I should get this and some tips.

Lol. I tracked with every sentence here.
I do have Ryobi batteries. Now I'm trying to remember how many disposable zip it/ snake tools and Drano bottles I buy per year to help justify it....
Any difference between the P4001 and the P4002? It appears that P4002 can do both AC and battery. Anything else? Thanks!
The P4002 has a removable drum (cable snake inside) that can be replaced easily.
The P4001 requires major disassembly to remove the cable snake from its drum.
The replacement cable snake part (no drum included) is NOT sold at Home Depot.
So if you damage the cable snake frequently enough, it is better to have the P4002 for easier swap-outs. The replacement drum part (with included cable snake) is sold at Home Depot.

Yeah I was wondering the same. I got the battery only one for around 40 a few months ago was wondering if it's worth upgrading to this.
