Blink works perfectly for what it's supposed to do. If you want long clips, don't go for a battery reliant system. I wouldn't use my Arlo for long clips either.
The battery lasts at least two years if you keep the clips short. I leave it at 5 seconds and have up to 150 a day at times and battery is fine.
You synced up wrong, I don't think each camera needs access to sync module after setup. If they do, then I'm getting well over 100ft range on mine.
This is a quick and easy alert / instant view system. This is not a full on security system.
2/3 of mine are XT, so I don't know if that's a big difference or not.

That's BS! I live in a 4 story house over 3000sqft and I have zero issues. They work way better than Ring or Arlo and I have had both. In fact these replaced an overpriced Arlo system.

I didn't install them for a month and by then the return policy had run out
I know this sounds crazy but I got the $5 Wyze indoor cam deal and turned it into an outdoor cam. Somehow the cheap Wyze cam outperforms the Blink.
I've got an 1800 sq ft home and have the sync module on one end of my house. 4 cameras with 2 on the opposite end of the house and no issues. 2 of my cameras have been in use for over a year and the batteries still say ok as they did when new. I have sensitivity set to 4, clip length at 15 & retrigger at 15. I also have 4 at my cabin. One is on the front of the unattached garage peak that's at least 100' away from the sync module and no issues. Also 2 I use in the woods next to my property to watch the deer and no issues. I run Google Wi-Fi mesh at my cabin and have a satellite in my garage that's maybe 30' from the camera. Don't know if that comes into play or not.
Possibly you've got a bad sync module. Have you talked with tech support. Most of these Amazon company tech support are pretty responsive.

Wow mine has been great

Wyze motion detection is awful. It's not PIR so it picks up the neighbors lights...bugs...Spider webs...rain.
Me too. I've got 3 of the new Blink Outdoor, 2 XT2 and 2 from the Woot deal.
Been very happy and much faster than my Ring floodlight cam and doorbells.
I've picked up a couple of the $24.99 Blink minis but haven't placed them yet.

Going to add another thumbs up. Purchased 2 around this time last year and no problems overall. Do get an occasional missed trigger, but it cars or headlights. Batteries are holding.
I'm a huge fan of my XT2 system, not sure why you are having so many problems. I've caught my cats, possums, fox among other animals. Only downside I see to the cams is the 2 second or so delay when motions triggers it. My batteries lasted a year and a half with constant traffic.
