In for two upgrades. For what it's worth, my final DPP Verizon agreement terms show the discount as a straight $200 off (NOT bill credits of 2 years). This is good!

Seems to me that if you buy the unlocked version, it's be like the one Google sells. However, you need to activate in one of the 3 carriers listed at time of purchase to get that price. Otherwise, it's $649, which is the same price Google sells.

This is misleading, this is technically still not unlocked, you have to buy into a **NEW** line.
I just upgraded my existing line with no problem at the $499 price. Verizon will likely want to charge me activation fee, but I don't think a new line is required
How are these pixels? I've always had s-line samsung. I know these aren't hardware heavy like the s20's, but I understand that's not exactly necessary because they're not bloated with garbage on them like Samsungs.

Are they fast for multi-tasking?
They're just fine for normal multi-tasking. The Pixels are known for some of the best still cameras. The only cameras I think come close are the Note Ultra and IPhone Pro Max line. The other advantages are 3 years of timely updates and local repair service.

And continued photo storage at high quality past next July.
