Added a line at Costco. Unfortunately I do NOT see the 2020 line on us 3 in my account.
Chatted with 611 rep and he confirmed it's a free line. Anyone else in the same boat?
Give it half of day or so.
Mine showed up 3 hours after the trip to Costco.
That just happened to me too. No rebate popped up after adding a new line. They created a ticket for the Costco card to be mailed to my address instead.
I read somewhere we may get the rebate faster than other people. However, it is open for the whole mess
This thread is so confusing due to all the different situations people come from.
For someone who doesn't use T-Mobile, hopefully someone can help me figure this out...
1. Does this work if I don't have a TM account already?
2. How long would I need to keep TM if I switch to them?
3. People mention porting various kinds of numbers... do you have to port a number or could it be a sign up for a new number? Is there some way to get a good temporary number to "port"?
4. My only line that I could port is on Ting and I pay around $40 on average... TM's $70 line is pretty nuts compared to that, of course it has perks like unlimited data.. that's why I'd have to do the math if it's worth the $200 gift card.

Yes now I'm not sure this has messed up with my account or not. I do see the promo "2020 3rd Line On Us 3 (Additional Lines)" on my account, but my monthly charge goes up. Contacting TForce now.
I just got done adding the free line at Costco with the $200 GC. Took 5 minutes. They gave me a new sim card at no cost to use with an existing phone and I walked out the door without any money changing hands. Super simple!

I went to Costco. They got the flexpay error and had to call T-Mobile. Hold time was about 20 minutes and then both the T-Mobile and Costco reps were pretty slow so I was there for 45 minutes probably. In the end T-Mobile added the line (and the rep on the phone confirmed it was free) and Costco provided the rebate paperwork. I made a few texts and calls on my ancient HTC One S and came home and submitted the rebate.
The One S was used years ago, but hasn't been on the account for a long time. I presume that will qualify as a BYOD phone?
Dang, I got the same error, called T-Mo, and both the rep and Costco employee said there was nothing they could do. Congrats for making it work.

I didn't have tm account, added 4 lines, got 4 rebate forms. Looks like you need to be on Tm for 3 months

i think it's an issue with the cell phone employee as the costco I went to couldn't figure it out either lol
I had the same issue before but was able to do it during the last promo at a different costco.I think tmobile has to add the line then they somehow get credit for it.

Yeah the dude at Costco was less than knowledgeable, that's for sure. It was a bummer all around but hey, I added the free line anyway with T-Mobile. Can't beat free. In the game of Slickdeals you win some, you lose some.
Not true, I was told by a Tmobile agent today that Boost Mobile is NOT eligible for the $100 rebate port-in promo due to the carrier using the Tmobile network and being considered a wholesale account.

I don't see if the deal has number of limits.

My plan is eligible for adding a new line for $20 but NOT the free line promo that everyone is excited about.
I'm clear on the first two below but the third, I don't know and looking for help.
1. Goto Costco and add a new line to existing account to get $200.
2. Come home and port-in from Spectrum for the T-mobile $100 rebate.
3. I want to get the Iphone pro with trade in of my 8+ in the deal below. Can I stack the 1& 2 above with this deal below?
https://slickdeals.net/f/14505392-new-better-deal-t-mobile-apple-iphone-iphone-12-12-mini-free-12-pro-50-12-pro-max-150w-qualifying-device-trade-in-activation-existing-customers-tbd?v=1
In effect $300 from 1 & 2 above AND trade in 8+ for $830 off iPhone Pro.
Can someone kindly chime in?
