Added the new line at Costco. Should I submit the rebate before initiating a port request? is it ok to have the phone numbers different from costo rebate submission and tmobile rebate (after porting)?
I did it all at once. BYOD at Costco then port. Will I have trouble for not splitting it up like you are doing?
I currently have Magenta Plan with 4 lines, Looks like the max number for Magenta is 8 lines? So can I port in and add a line (free one) and add 3 more lines?
Therefore, the 5th line will be free with $200 costco and $100 port in. Then 3 more paid lines to get $200 costco (total $600)? I guess if I have 3 more numbers to port, can i get $100 each for 3 paid lines?
If above is accurate, then I can get $1200 back. Looks like $220 for 8 lines minus free 5th line? Not sure, if paying for additional lines is the best way to way to get rebates.
No need for concern. 2020 Line on Us 3 (Additional Lines) showed up online within 3 hours.
Will appreciate for answering my question, I am currently have 4 lines on Magenta plan and paying $98 with 20% hookup discount, so with this promo, I can add the fifth line for free at Costco, also get $200 Costco card ? Sounds too good to me? Thanks for any input.
Well, I have a bunch of tmobile phones on my drawer but.... I forgot to bring them. And the dickhead there didn't want to use the IMEI of the phone I use everyday. So it will be up to who you get. If they are a problem solver they will help you, if they are a problem maker they won't. But ultimately I blame myself for forgetting the extra phone and not giving myself enough time to go back there today. Hopefully they will have something similar before xmas.
Just back from Costco I used a phone from one of my existing lines and did the new line addition. In the rebate form the lady wrote the IMEI number but not the new line number. She said I can change the tempy number to permanent number and then submit rebate form online within 30 days. So basically the number can change on rebate form but not the IMEI. The IMEI needs to match what was given in costco.

So you got a new account free? This is what I need? Explain! Please!
Just added a line at Costco without mentioning to them anything about free line. Went home and chat with TM and the rep confirmed it's free, though haven't seen "Line On Us" in my account yet. It took much longer than anticipated at Costco.
Will buy a number off ebay and try the $100 rebate double dip.

Ok, I'm getting different info from you. For some unknown reason their system didn't take my phone's IMEI so Costco's rep generated an IMEI# using a generator site off his phone(the site looks fishy) and put that number onto the rebate info paper he gave me. He said when I fill out the rebate, just use the IMEI# off my phone and not the one he generated/and on the form.
Can someone who've done similar rebate at Costco in the past confirm it's ok the IMEI# on rebate does not match the one on Costco's paper??

Did you have to specify anything about free line or TMo will automatically apply free if your plan qualifies?

I went Costco and did the free line. I just told them I want to add a line for the BYOD promo. The rep was really knowledgable so he was able to get it done in like 10 minute.
My question is can I port in a number today, tomorrow, or before the 30 days, for the $100 port-in? If yes, would I use the number I got from Costco or the port-in number for the $200 Costco card? I see many mixed answers on this in this thread. I know for the port-in, obviously it'll be the port-in number, but not quite sure about the Costco BYOD.
Thank you!
Edit: I forgot to mention that once I inserted the sim card, I got the welcome text from T-Mobile and I saw the 2020 Line On Us 3 on my account.

To clarify... adding 4 new phone #'s or porting 4 numbers?

My plan is eligible for adding a new line for $20 but NOT the free line promo that everyone is excited about.
I'm clear on the first two below but the third, I don't know and looking for help.
1. Goto Costco and add a new line to existing account to get $200.
2. Come home and port-in from Spectrum for the T-mobile $100 rebate.
3. I want to get the Iphone pro with trade in of my 8+ in the deal below. Can I stack the 1& 2 above with this deal below?
https://slickdeals.net/f/14505392-new-better-deal-t-mobile-apple-iphone-iphone-12-12-mini-free-12-pro-50-12-pro-max-150w-qualifying-device-trade-in-activation-existing-customers-tbd?v=1
In effect $300 from 1 & 2 above AND trade in 8+ for $830 off iPhone Pro.
Can someone kindly chime in?
