T-Force Rep said that Boost AND Google Voice numbers are ineligible for $100 rebate.
Tmobile Rep:
I see this number is with legacy Sprint so we are not able to port it over it would need to be transferred. This is something our retail stores are handling directly. Do you need the nearest location? ^AlexisGovea
You sent Today at 1:19 PM I can ask the retail store to handle the porting process but the number being legacy sprint number mean I cannot get a $100 rebate after port-in?

Great question! This would not be eligible for the port in since Sprint is now a part of T-Mobile. ^AlexisGovea
You sent Today at 2:00 PM I understand, thank you!
How about Google Voice? Is Google voice eligible for a $100 rebate?
Tmobile Rep: sent Today at 2:27 PM
It does not look like Google voice would qualify I apologize! ^AlexisGovea
Weird, I ported in 3 numbers that had been with sprint for 11 years and had no problem. That was when the s20 came out though, so just before they finalized the merger. Makes since that they don't consider Sprjnt or their mvno a port in now.
We're all waiting. Some rebate paperwork says 12/3 but others show 11/25......
My experience with these costco rebates is that they just continually set the expiration dates back for an indefinite amount of time. My guess is they are trying to create a sense of urgency ir impulse buy acting as if the deal will end soon.
So a control number has to match with a phone number?
Well, at the time, I wasn't sure, and the form was manually filled so over the phone, we differentiated via phone number.
Now, though, another SDer said that Control number needs to match IMEI... so I'd contact them tomorrow, if not go back there.
From the terms "Device must be activated for at least 3 billing cycles." I added the line at Costco with an old phone because the phone I wanted to use is locked. Do you think I am stuck with the old phone till I get the $200 or are they more interested in the line being activated for 3 billing cycles ?
You can use the locked phone. Just once a month pop the sim in the other phone and send a few texts from that phone so it registers on the network and swap back

Hope you're right. We'll find out tomorrow I guess
It's been way over 24hrs since I added a line at Costco and I still don't see the 2020 Line On Us 3 discount on my plan. I msged tforce beforehand and afterwards to confirm it's a free line for my plan. Anyone else has this issue?

Having the same issue. Hopefully it gets fixed in the morning

Same. Chatted with T-Force and they mentioned they see the discount on their end. Took screen shots to dispute just in case. Hope it doesn't get to that
If we add a line through Costco as BYOD, and then submit port rebate with T-Mo - will we be able to trade in a device as an existing customer to get iPhone 12 Mini?
I understand this will not work with "iPhone on Us" promo when adding a line. How about after a couple of days as an existing customer?

So can you just add the line for free and get the the gift card? Do you need to mention to the Costco rep that you're also trying to use free line on us promo?
I am planning to get both 200$ Costco card and 100$ rebate from t-mobile. Anyone know which permanent wireless number I provide during Costco 200$ submission - the one activated at Costco or the ported number?
