Costco rep had error message " Customer identify as a flex pay " when adding a new line for me, T-Mobile doesn't have any problems at my account to add a new line.
Anyone had this issue?
I had same issue costco rep was knowing how to resolve it and called tmobile customer care to resolve it .. it was pretty wuick and was able to add line within 10 mins
Will the Costco $200 cash card promotion be voided if I double dip with T-Mobile Google Pixel 4a 5g on us? I heard by upgrading a device on your new line, you would lose Costco BYOD promotion?
For those of you wondering if the promo is tied to the original phone, the answer is no.
My Costco rep told me the sim can be used on any device after it's activated on the BYOD phone. The IMEI is just for filling out the promo form, and as long as the line is active, you'll get your Costco GC.
Also if you want to stack with the free Pixel 4a promo, make sure you call TMO as soon as you finish activating the new line. My TMO rep told me it's eligible as long as the promo is added within the allowed time frame, he didn't specify how long the time frame is, but I'd assume within 24 hours - 48 hours because I was in a similar situation earlier this year and was able to add the free iphone XR promo a day after I activated a new line.
I was told if you stack the free Pixel promotion with Costco's BYOD promotion then you'd risk losing the BYOD status on the line.
Can anyone confirm please?
I have an old phone that I'm not sure still turns on. But I know its IMEI number. Will that be enough for the Costco rebate? Could I just give the IMEI number and never actually "activate" the sim card since the phone might or might not turn on?
Thanks for any help or advice.

He is not gonna get 2 lines free, as only 1 line is free per account. Line is free in the form of bill credits, you are not allowed to cancel paid lines, otherwise you lose free line.
It's possible to get 2 lines free. Check the link that I provided. I got 2 lines for free in September, and one more now.
How will the 200$ CostCo Rebate Card be received ?

For what it's worth I did the same thing and will be giving it to my brother later in December. Wonder if the IMEI change will invalidate the rebate
