The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I will be doing the same tomorrow. I just bought my Google Voice # for $3 and setup a VM PIN. The account number is the GV phone# and PIN is the VM PIN. This is needed for Porting over. I called Tmobile and they said I was eligible for a free line tomorrow (Magenta Plus). Also no taxes for me so this is a steal if I can stack the $100+$200
Cool. So you would add the free line by calling Tmobile cnd then go over to costco to port in the number for the 200$ ?

I've read through the comments here but I'm not fully clear on how this works with Costco.

Do I have this right: I go to Costco, bring a phone and add a free line there, and then I get a $200 Costco card? Or what's the procedure?
If u do this you will get $100 rebate from tmobile and $200 CCard from costco. Go to costco and said add a line and port in att or verizon # which u can buy from ebay for less than $10 also said i will use my own device and give IMEI # which is not attach to any tmobile # before. After that u go to tmobile and apply $100 rebate and go to costco promo link and apply $200 rebate.

Just add a line. You can do this yourself online, call in, via Twitter/Facebook message, or at a Costco kiosk. All those methods will simply add the line. And if you are eligible, it will be free in the system. Customer service doesn't do anything special to make it free ... they're just adding the line like you can. Choose whatever route you prefer.

Nope, I will just do everything at Costco. Add the line, and port over the number. I also have an old samsung phone that I will use.

I am a new customer and just got my 2nd bill. I have 4 lines, with 1 of them free. I will take advantage of this and add another free line. When can I drop 1 of the 3 paid lines, and still keep 2 lines free? Do I have to wait 1 year from the initial account opening/initial free line date? Or 1 year from the last added free line?

Can we add this free line at Costco and get $200 rebate as well or better to do via Tforce to make sure your current promotions are not messed up? If yes, then how Costco knows which code to add this free line? Can someone share there experience how to do it through Costco?

No promo code needed at all when call T-Mobile and in Costco?
And for the $100 from T-Mobile, I just need to call T-Mobile customer service to get it?

In my experience, Costco employees don't know anything about the free lines. You would have to tell them to add a line and then hope that line would be free, but Tmobile employees know exactly what promotion you're looking for so there's a bit difference between the two.

How do you get 3 people on Senior plan , unlimited 55 + ?

Can I get more than two lines?
No. Essentials Unlimited 55 is limited to a maximum of two voice lines. You can get a single line for just $40 per month with autopay (plus taxes and fees).

Added 2 free lines earlier this year. Now will add this as my soc is FRLTUL4LP.

Now just need to see about possible stack with Costco

Order:
1. At Costco add a line with bring your own phone
2. T-mobile chat: Request port of new number to the new line and number from Costco
3. Check account for something showing the free line
4. Submit any paperwork
