Porting in from various networks: don't use Google Voice, Boost or any MVNO that uses Tmobile as their network. Even if the rep let's you do it, your rebate will get rejected later.
It is not known if you can stack the costco $200 with the tmobile $100 but one thing to note is that the costco rebate is by Wireless Associates which runs the booths in Costco, while the $100 is directly by T-mobile.

Wondering if we go to Costco, have them add a line to our existing account just like they normally would, and :
1. That line would be automatically be assigned as ' This one on us ' by the system ? ( depending if the conditions are met i.e. 2 post paid line, no recent cancellations, and SOC code qualified )
Or,
2. We would need to reach out to TMobile to have that newly added line by Costco re-assigned as a ' This one on us ' ( again assuming the pre-requisites are met ) ?
It's a huge hassle, and your many times out the sim card fee regardless of Tmobile screwing you. All they want is quarterly line increases for more investment securities.
Google it, class action lawsuits currently being litigated. And plenty of individual lawsuits opened recently.
