The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

if you add a line (byo sim card or they provide a new one) at costco, do they usually waive the $10 fee?

Just an update, I was about to sign up for the 50% off Pixel 4A 5g however this is my 3rd free line, (I only use the free lines to sign up for a bunch of random food apps/service apps), and I figured I didn't want to pay for a new phone. So I decided to ask about free phones on top on the free line.

Even though the OP said you can't get any free phone with Add A line, I managed to get the free LG K51 phone for $15 (Taxes). The rep has processed the free line with the free phone, shipped overnight (free).
If you log into your ONLINE account, what's the name of the free line you just added. For example, for Sept's free line it was "Free Line On Us 2". Thank you. I'm guess "Free line on us 3"? Thank you.

So you added the line before even promo started, and what a guarantee that the line that rep added would indeed be free. Reps screw up so often, not intentionally maybe, but I guess, they just don't know all nitty-gritty details I guess. If that happens, then it's a battle, not a difficult one maybe, but can be time consuming and frustrating. Obviously you know ur tolerance level better.

I guess that phone might be okay, it's always free I guess, but now I you won't be able to get $100/200 port-in credit.

Nope, digits or tablet data lines don't work for it unfortunately.
Though I think you can use the free line on a tablet once you enabled data but I think it automatically gets throttled to 2G.

The free line shows up overnight. Also, I always make sure that I go through T-Force chat because everything is logged. He mentioned the free phone with the free line.

So have you seen the new line on your ONLINE account yet? If yes, what's the name of the promo of this free line?

I was told it will process overnight and then generate into my account in the morning.

Judging from my 2nd free line activity, the phone order came in at 5:44 AM, the new line activated at 7:40PM.

Anyone have any luck with SOC 10SCFM2 plan? Chat over Facebook told me it was a no go. Code on the SOC file lists the code but with an L at the end. Two promos ago added the line then I had to cancel because it turned out it wasn't free. Since I cancelled, it voided my qualification for promo in September. TIA

I chatted with T-Force to confirm the $100 rebate since I could not find any information on their website or in the past 40 pages of this post. They said there is no such thing.. I get that some support may be wrong or misinformed but yea take it with a grain of salt. Chat transcript below.

They said:

"Okay, I do see the free line does start tomorrow, but I am not reading over the $100 rebate in my document."

"Let me reach out to see if I am missing something here."

"Okay, so I have confirmation that the free lines is a thing starting tomorrow but the $100 rebate is not."

So I responded: Got it! Do you know when it will?

They replied:

"The $100 rebate is not a thing actually, that is just the wrong. 'word of mouth' basically."

I just chat with a rep and they said the s20 fe 99 deal will not combine with add a line tomorrow. Ugh
Exact words.. We do apologize but this promotion for the "2020 Samsung Activate P10" cannot be combined with the free add a line promotion

Hi,

I would like to add the free line (I have two simple choice lines and checked the codes and apparently, I qualify) trade my Pixel 2 and get the Pixel 4a 5G for free (24 bill credits) if that is how it would work.

I have never added a free line and don't know how to do it. Can someone please walk me through the process. I would really appreciate the help.

Thank you!

Same story on my end. Have not been able to find any literature on this $100 rebate.

Edit: I provided the rebate code 2020SWITCHP2 and they were able to confirm it would work with new line offer.

It's easy, you just add the line through whatever medium you choose. You can do it online by yourself and save the $20 "support" fee and just pay for the $10 sim card or you can go to the store so that you can trade in your phone and get the new phone. They will charge you $30 for the activation and sim card unless you ask if they will waive it which most of the time they don't.
