The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I chatted with T-Force to confirm the $100 rebate since I could not find any information on their website or in the past 40 pages of this post. They said there is no such thing.. I get that some support may be wrong or misinformed but yea take it with a grain of salt. Chat transcript below.

They said:

"Okay, I do see the free line does start tomorrow, but I am not reading over the $100 rebate in my document."

"Let me reach out to see if I am missing something here."

"Okay, so I have confirmation that the free lines is a thing starting tomorrow but the $100 rebate is not."

So I responded: Got it! Do you know when it will?

They replied:

"The $100 rebate is not a thing actually, that is just the wrong. 'word of mouth' basically."

I currently have 1 Line on Magenta. I just placed my order via telephone for the 2nd line and got the 3rd line free to get the iphone 12 pros. They are shipping my sim card in 2-3 days. I just asked TFORCE if my 2nd and 3rd line is considered "active" as of today. They said No its not active until you get your sim.

Does that mean I am not eligible for my free line tomorrow even if I placed my order today 11/24? I confirmed with the rep on the phone and she claimed it would be active as of today. so much contradiction!

My SOC is FRLTUL2LP so looks like I'm not eligible for this.

I'm currently paying for 3 line so my bill is $178, less with 2 of the lines having Kickback for under 2 GB data. Normally the bill is $168 then since there are months where one line does still go over 2 GB. The third line was added last year as a regular line.

Looking at the plans I can go to Magenta for the same amount of money but then I would lose Kickback. What else would I lose (I think HD that is free through a Promo on 2 lines as well as tethering)? Does it even make sense to make such a move? Am I missing anything?
Neat trick to use on a free line is to use the data on that line with Dual Esim on your paid line with kickback. Your phone needs to have Dual Esim though. You just need to use an old sim you have or order one for $10 in store or online for the free line.

It's actually possible to have kickback on free lines but it's random if it works or not.
I think the trick is for them to add the kickback back to account if they screw up your line. If they are kind enough to add kickback for all lines then it should work. They did it on mine and I have kickback on all mine lines now.I can actually drop my bill below $50 if I restrict my data. I try not to let bill drop that low or they might decide to do an audit on the account and see the mistake
my "2020 line on us" was added to "account level" automatically.. so yes, i am getting kickback Smilie

the "2020 line on us 2" was added to my "line" level, so i can no longer get kickback. but how do you manage for them to modify to account level? what do you exactly say to agent?

hope you can assist? i want to it add to account level because eventually wanted to cancel this "2020 line on us 2" tel# after a year.. long year...

thank you!

So, mostly this would stack with Costco $200?

so if I get the new line from TMobile with a default number from T-Mo, how long do I have to port a ATT number to the same line and trade in an old phone to get the new one?

Awesome. Thanks for this. Since it's a promo code, it can be used at Costco to port in the line and then also get the $200 Costco rebate, right?

I have SOC Code SCUTTF4 (Simple Choice Family Unlimited Talk & Text). When Tmobile removed my discounts in July I think they shifted me to this plan. I am assuming this plan is not eligible for free line. Is there anyway I can get free line? I think before I used to have SCFUTT4. I have family international old grandfather plan don't want to loose it.

This is no longer offered, it is only for old T-Mobile One plans.

It was an old incentive from 2017/2018 i believe. It can no longer be obtained. But it can be added on to an existing paid line but you practically have to beg T-Force online via Twitter or try calling by phone.
