The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

me too. whats the SOC for 2 free lines?
That's what I am not sure about. It sounds like I can only get one free line, even if I order 2 Pixel 4a Free Phones using the Promo. I'll probably have to pay for the second line.

Too bad that I can't take advantage of Costco's $200 offer. For some reason, they are unable to add any new line under my account no matter what they do and regardless of which location I visit. It has been going on for at least a few years now. $100 and a free line is better than nothing! Thank you!

Lol. Why stop at 2 x free line. Why not get 8 x free lines and 8 x $100. That way you can get 8 x free pixel 4a
If only I had 8 eligible phones for trade-inLMAO

My KB was removed from my free lines although it shows that it is receiving KB. When the free lines go over 2gb it states you did not get KB for this line HOWEVER, when you actually work out the math, there is no increase nor discount on the bill when these free lines go over or stay under 2gb. Though it makes it seem there is KB offered, bill will even state you received KB but in fact, nope did not, have you played around with tallying the bill when the free lines go over 2gb, I am genuinely curious if folks' are just reading the statement and going by the blurb written under the line discounts without crunching the numbers.

Pretty certain you aren't getting kb on the free lines.
I am pretty certain I am for "2020 Free line on us".
But pretty certain I am not for "2020 free line on us 2".
I did the math.

So apparently my rate plan code is 10SCFM4, eligible SOC code is 10SCFM4L. Is this the same? Do I qualify?
Unfortunately no. They are different soc. You can try and talk to tforce and maybe get lucky enough for them to switch your soc, which is rare that they even do, but also search up the pros and cons of soc that you want to switch to.

How many lines are you currently? Apparently my plan was locked to 8 lines T-Mobile ONE thus either Costco or t-force was having problems adding 9th line... hence my plan was unknowingly changed to Magenta...

After few months of headaches, T-Force was able to changed back to 12-lines T-Mobile ONE and adding beyond 8th line, no problems.

I have only 5 lines. But I don't know for some strange reasons Costco can't add any lines or modify my account in any way. I have tried many times with different Costcos and results are the same. Kind of gave up since it takes too much time, not worth it for me.

Is there an end date on this promotion?

It might be better to wait after today and see if Costco has AAL+Trade In prepaid card offers in the upcoming week.

I was planning to head to Costco this morning to take advantage of the BYOD promotion.
I decided to see how it would work if I were to add the free line through the T-Mobile app and it still shows up $20 for a new line. Is this normal or is the promo not available yet? I am pretty certain my plan allows for a free line since I got one at the end of September without any problem. I have four lines - 2 paid, 2 free - on a grandfathered T-Mobile One plan. Is there someplace I should be looking to see/confirm the free line promotion?

FRLTUL2LP - I have from back in 2017. Not eligible once again it seems. Anyone have any recommendations on what I should consider switching to? I don't absolutely need a fourth line but would be nice.

Most likely the plan you are on may have restriction on number of lines. When costco tries to add lines, their system is not showing any available voice lines to add. Would most likely have to switch plans that allow for more lines.

The funny thing that I can do myself online or by chatting/calling TM without issues. It's Costco only problem, have no idea why. Every time if there is a deal, which involves add a line with some kind of rebates, I have to first add a line myself before heading down to Costco.

Thats wierd then for sure..

And in that case costco lets you take advantage of device purchase offers without they adding the line themselves? They have always refused to do so when we were in similar situations with our older plan.

Slightly OT. My soc isn't eligible. Is it possible to get the Insider discount 20 percent still ? for existing plans?
