The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I placed order from t-mobile for free line. Sim is not shipped yet.

Is it possible to cancel from t-mobile and place order from Costco, as this would be a better offer ?

how long did it take to show it as free in TMo account? I added about 7 hours back but doesn't show 2020 Line on Us 3 in my account. I also have 2 other free lines and I am on Magnus Plus.

The risk is that cancelling the line you ordered from T-Mobile makes your account invalid for the free line because you had a line cancellation within 90 days. So only cancel the T-Mobile line order if it isn't reflected as a line cancellation. I have my doubts that you could even cancel the order at this point but this is something that you'd have to chat/call with T-Mobile to do. And even then, I'm not sure I'd trust what any T-Mobile rep tells you if they were not T-Force on Twitter/Facebook. And didn't the Costco rebate offer end today 11/25? I think you're out of luck with the Costco option anyways.

Yea same here. I also checked the bill for the following month, and it is showing a charge for the new line (added at Costco). Contacted T-mobile, and multiple reps said that the promo should automatically apply within 2 billing cycles; apparently, their view already showed the new line applicable for the "line on us 3" promo.

Anyone else have a similar issue with past "line on us" promos? And did it actually get automatically fixed or did you have contact T-mobile for further assistance?
