The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I went to my nearest Costco, there was a guy standing there and he asked: What can I help you? I said I would like to add a line.
I is the free line? and I said sure, he immediately said no we can't add that. We don't have ability to add the free line, go to Tmobile store they can add that free line for you.

I said well, just add the line it will automatically be free, and he said no it will not happen sir, unfortunately we can't do that.
Well, just add the line and forget about the free part, I said.
No, no, I cannot add a free line to your account sir, I already talk to my supervisor and I'm 100% sure they will charge you if I add a line.

Sir, it's none of your business if they charge me or not, can you do your job and add a line to my account? He was extremely mad and he said the line will not be free! Dude that's not your business, do your freaking job, I need to add a line to my account, I do not care if it is free to not. Where is your manager?
He said okay, He added the line and I asked him to print the promotion form.

As soon as he done my line I asked him can you also do it for my friend, who also wants to add a line....At this point he was about to cry but do I care? Sir do your job we need to add another line in different account.

Long story short, I and my friend left cost after we added the lines and I checked my account after an hour and boom 2020 line on us 3, both our accounts showed.

Went to Costco earlier today to try to get the $200 add a new line deal for free but the Costco rep couldn't get it done because my account is allegedly on "flexpay" and he told me to call T-Mobile to get it removed but since it'd typically take 24-hr to reflect this update, I'll likely miss the deadline for this deal. But in speaking w/ the T-mobile rep to get this "flexpay" status removed from my account, I was informed that not only could I get the free line, I could also get the Samsung S20 FE phone for free (sim/shipping/$20 service charge all waived), just pay for the tax today and I'll get credited the 24 month installment back every month. Figured I could just sell the phone for at least $300 (which is more than $200 costco gift card plus the tax I paid on the phone)
And when I port in a number later on, I'd still qualify for the $100 rebate.

Not sure if I got lucky or this is just a standard deal. BTW, I'm have T-Mobile ONE.
Your rep SCREWED YOU. You just loss the free line by doing the S20 FE deal....it's right on the 1st post it's ineligible!

my free line and sim card was processed this morning.. The supposed free line only showed up tonight on my account when the sim was shipped but then my plan went up as well by $20 and I dont see the promo. The agent via chat said that it would take 72 hrs for the promo to be added on my account is this correct? Is there a code for this promo that I could give so that they can check if its really pending on my account.
The Costco lady told me the same thing about waiting some time to see. My bill is also up by $20 right now. She did also mention that this might take 1-2 billing cycles to appear. When it does, they'll credit you back if you overpaid.

This happened to me before when I got that T-Mobile Insider discount. I'm still a bit nervous about not seeing that free line promo but I'll just monitor it for a few more days. Best of luck man

Are you saying it should be a form pre populated with the above informations? not hand written?
That's still fine as long you have the correct information. The main is Number, kios, purchase date, code...

Lucky, I guess. I have tried 3 times (all in the Tmo App Chat) and been told each time no way to combine a free line with a discounted phone promo.

Same here, everything except control number is handwritten. When I tried to submit the rebate, I got the message that rebate is already submitted for this control number. Is it possible that he handed same paper to someone else? Can they reprint it?

IMEI is not printed/written on the form. On the form are hand written purchase date,Activated Permanent Phone #, Kiosk#, my signature and date. Is it supposed to be a pre populated Rebate Redemption Form?

Thanks.
