The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

They are no longer T-Mobile since the merger. I have read on previous $250 T-Mobile BYOD port rebate at least 1 person was successful with the rebate using Boost.
Yes but they're still using the T-Mobile network. So that would make them similar to someone like Mint which I was always led to believe doesn't work.

What makes you think the Costco deal didn't expire yesterday?
The Costco kiosk guy confirmed the promo has been extended. The form he provided me also says the promo period from 11/20-12/03.

About a page back, someone posted that he/she was in store at Costco and say that $200 rebate didn't expire until 12/3
Lets hope that is true because the term sheet specifically says 11/25 expiration. Maybe Costco has a history of extending offers like this but I have no experience with them to make that judgement.

So they don't have data for the free line. Anybody got data?

I am assuming that the free line takes on the unlimited data of your plan as with all the phones on your account? Is this an erroneous assumption?

I am still confused about the Costco rebate.
I got a new line at the Costco kiosk, submitted the rebate at home using the new number I got from Costco and then I requested port-in from Tmobile. Now my rebate submitted number is different than the current ported-in number. Not sure how this is going to affect my $200 rebate from Costco since the numbers don't match.

Correct, aside from any add-ons that apply, like KickBack and One Plus Promo...those you need to contact them to add them to new lines.

I do remember Costco extending deals so am not surprised. Now I'm wondering if I can cancel with T-Mobile and sign up with Costco instead

Who knows. There has never existed a situation like this before. But they are definitely not like Mint mobile as those are bar from porting numbers to T-Mobile and Metro PCS. There is no such restrictions with Boost as of now. So I would just treat Boost like a 4th carrier company.

Which number did you use when you submitted the rebate for costco promotion? The original number you got from kiosk or the new port-in number?

I used the new port in number (Google VOice) as the rebate states to put the permanent number. Even if they deny we can argue that the number given was not the permanent one.

I dont think its going to be an issue
