The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I used the new port in number (Google VOice) as the rebate states to put the permanent number. Even if they deny we can argue that the number given was not the permanent one.

I dont think its going to be an issue
Who do you argue with ?

I added a line on 2 different account. Both have sim card and were used immediately.
Account 1 has the 2020 FREE LINE ON US 3 within 30 minutes
Account 2 still has no Promo Code on account after 24 hours

Chat assures me they see it on their end though.

Lots of debate on reddit about eligible carriers for the port in rebate. To be safe, should be from Verizon at@t etc.

Boost, Mint, Gvoice are all risky. Yes the port in will work but whether rebate gets denied who knows.

Guess I'll pony up for eBay number and call it a day

Who knows. There has never existed a situation like this before. But they are definitely not like Mint mobile as those are bar from porting numbers to T-Mobile and Metro PCS. There is no such restrictions with Boost as of now. So I would just treat Boost like a 4th carrier company.
I almost wish the terms were more restrictive so we'd know up front at least.

In that case I'm wondering about Red Pocket for $5. But even with them I've seen it can be a hassle to get the number out sometimes, and I'm wondering how helpful they'd be if I'm porting out the same day I activate the SIM.

Errrr... sure. Lol
I am pretty sure it will work. Whether or not Costco Card and T-Mobile Rebate will stack, that I am not so sure.

It matters because T-Mobile sets the rules. In order to keep the free line free, you must keep a minimum of 2 paid lines at all times. If you have more than 2 paid lines, you must wait 12 months after adding the free line before you cancel one of your paid lines. If you don't wait at least 12 months before cancelling a line, you lose the free line promotion and this line becomes a paid line.
I have 2 paid lines on original magenta plan. I am not planning to cancel either of them .. I have a 3rd line which is an add on and is a paid line . Cancelling it may not effect this free line which is 4th line , I just added . Can some one confirm ?

Link for red pocket? Wish there was a specific list provided by T-Mobile to take the guessing out

I messaged for fun tmobile and asked.. rep said google voice ineligible for rebate. However i take with a grain of salt. Bet if i msg again get a yes sure it works lol

Will this void/cancel your $200 Costco Gift card as you are not bringing your device anymore?

I was told that I qualify to get the Pixel promotion after doing what you did but it was mentioned to me that it will mess up my Costco GC as the line will be associated with a different IMEI number and not the one I used when I did the BYOD at Costco

I did not want to risk losing the $200 Costco Gift Card

Anyways of getting all three promos? ($200 Costco, $100 Tmobile ported number & Pixel promo)
I was able to have the port done at Costco from GV. Using that GV number/my old iphone IMEI, i was able to get the 200 costco (well i applied for it). The rep at costco said i qualified so dont forsee any issues here.
