The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I have 2 paid lines on original magenta plan. I am not planning to cancel either of them .. I have a 3rd line which is an add on and is a paid line . Cancelling it may not effect this free line which is 4th line , I just added . Can some one confirm ?
Yes. Any free lines added this year have the stipulation that you can't drop any lines within a year of the date of the added free line.

Link for red pocket? Wish there was a specific list provided by T-Mobile to take the guessing out

I messaged for fun tmobile and asked.. rep said google voice ineligible for rebate. However i take with a grain of salt. Bet if i msg again get a yes sure it works lol
Just redpocket.com. It's a public promo they're running for the weekend. First month of any new line is $5 including SIM. So getting one of their AT&T or Verizon numbers should work, assuming they let you port out immediately.

So, I cannot go just to tmobile website and add it? it has to go thru costo? My SOC is FRLTUL2LP. "Tmobile One all-in Promo"
You can get the line from anywhere, but you are walking away from $200 anywhere else.

(edit: plus potentially suffering an 'upgrade' or service fee).

I'd just be concerned about getting the number out, but I'll probably just take a bigger haircut on an eBay number and move on with my life. At some point it's not worth worrying this much over $10.

I was able to have the port done at Costco from GV. Using that GV number/my old iphone IMEI, i was able to get the 200 costco (well i applied for it). The rep at costco said i qualified so dont forsee any issues here.
You don't need to port any number over for the $200 rebate. You just need to activate a line that's all. Those people that want to port is because they want to double dip with the $100.

yes, you cannot use the temp number, please resubmit your claim using the correct number.
I should port in my AT&T number first, and use the AT&T number on both Costco $200 rebate and t-mobile $100 rebate. Is this correct? Thanks!

Re: Google Voice ports
So they'll work in the sense of getting that number ported in but the big question is will they pay out the $100? I'd rather pay a little more for a number that'll definitely work than be out $3 for nothing.
Yes, it will work, but many people reported Tmobile rebates were denied. So YMMV.

It does. I got the LG k51. All I did was pay $14 to cover the tax portion. Now I'm getting credit for it each month so it balances it out at $0.

They were denied simply because these numbers came from GV?

I saw the answer posted before but can't find it. How long do you have to wait to transfer a Metro by Tmobile line onto a free tmobile line?
