The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I added the free line through calling and a rep set it up for me. Been getting few emails confirming the new line. I checked online and saw that the new line has the "SC 6GB Data..." added automatically to it for $15/month. I unchecked it and set it to "No Data", there is no option for 4GB, etc. like my other lines.
Were you able to add free data on new promo line?

Is there a way to know number of lines limit per plan? T rep said my account is eligible to get 12 to 15 lines but my plan only supports 10 lines. my SOC is SCFUTT4. Thank you for helping.

Need advice. Added line at Costco last night, shows as free in my T-mobile account so all good there. However when the rep was adding it, he used a random IMEI for an iPhone that was in the store. Even though I had my account pulled up with all of my IMEI numbers. He said it does not matter for BYOD. However I think he even used the same IMEI for other customers. This IMEI shows on my rebate paperwork and it is even one if the search criteria (with zip code) for checking rebate status. Now I'm concerned there will be an issue with my $200 cash card. Do I need to use this IMEI with my control number, or should I use one of my own devices? Going to call the rep tomorrow and ask if it can be changed. I'd also like to do the port in but just don't want to mess this up further. Thanks for any suggestions.

Do I porting in my number at the same time when i open a new line in costco in order to get $200 and $100?

I read some says i should porting the line after I get home. In the past, I tried to port in a number into my existing free line but it never work. TMo wont allow me porting into existing free line. Isn't that after i open new line at costco , it becomes my existing line thus i cant port in number into this line that just created today?

Please advise. TIA
I didn't submit my rebates but i was able to open line at costco(yesterday) and did port in today through tmobile help on twitter.

Did it get fixed?

Looks like I have the same issue on new line that was added yesterday?
T-force had to refer it to smother department since my plan is old/retired. They fixed it pretty fast in September free line and this free line too. It took a couple hours to hear back.

I had similar issue. Contact t-force and say your new line does not have the right data plan and ask them to copy the data plan from your other line.
I just added a line with this promo. I have the Business Family Discount (2GB data/line) with four paid lines and then now, a total of 2 free lines. One free line from September and one from today.

I see that they added the $15 for 6GB of data. I tried to remove it online and the soonest would be the start of next month's cycle. I called back in and they said that 6GB is the smallest amount of data. So I didn't argue and asked her to cancel all data on that line.

When I try to add the data back online, it doesn't let me. Is the only way I can do this is to call back in? I've been trying this T-Force thing through FB all day but I don't get any responses. Is that just going to their FB page and using Messenger to chat with them? Are they all off for Thanksgiving? It sounded like my two prior calls were answered overseas.

Hello guys I am on Grandfathered simple choice unlimited plan. This is my 5th free line. I went to Costco on the 25th, signed up for new line, came back home did a chat with T-mobile got the Pixel 4a 5G free after trading in my Pixel Xl that was lying around. I plan to port a Verizon number I bought on ebay and get the $200 Costco (with ported verizon number) and $100 T-mobile rebate.
This wasn't easy though: T-mobile chat kinda messed up at first and had a lot of back of forth however I have lot of chats saved that I get free line and free phone. Let me know if you guys have any questions.

I need some clarification.

Let's say I add free line for the yesterday's promo and it doesn't show up as free after a week or two. So then I cancel that line...but why would it affect the free line from Sept...this new line that I am cancelling wasn't there in Sept. Summary - If you cancel a line within a year that existed when you added a free line, then you can lose the free line. But if you cancel a line that was added after the free line and u cancel that should be ok. Is this correct?
It's mysterious. Not sure the added line after free line will have impact on free line or not. Hopefully not, but you never know how T-Mobile implements their system.

Porting out means closing/cancelling a line. If you actually want to cancel the free line that you just added, you can port it out at any time.

Haven't fully formed my strategy yet.
Really was thinking along the lines of using as a port to get freebies from other carrier offers.

Throwaway line which on this instance is netting me $300 with the AAL.

Can anyone confirm that if my plan has that SOC code that is eligible for free line (TM1TI2) and I just add a line and buy a Pixel 4A5G with that new line, free line promo will be aplied without me doing anything. Thanks.
I have the exact same plan/SOC code and I was eligible for the free line. Yesterday I went to Costco to add the free line to get the $200 shop card when you BYOD and to avoid the sim card fee. And last night I chatted with two diffrent reps and they both told me that I'm eligible for the 50% Pixel 4A 5G and confirmed that it would not override my free line offer. So I purchased the phone through the chat and all I had to pay was sales tax. I woke up this morning and already saw that they credited me for the Pixel 4A 5G, which is $10.42 for 24 months since I did NOT do a trade in.

Move to 4PL, no cap and is comes with netflix
I took your advice from yesterday. I was able to get on a 4 line for 160 plan, when I do the chrome truck it's not 4LP. But they were able to change my third line from being a regular line to mirror my other lines with the 10GB tether and HD included along with Kickback. No 4th line shows yet but wonder if that's because I took the half price pixel but waiting for it to be ship. I know it's not a free line but I always able to fix my account that had a phone missing the All In Promo as well as Kickback and my 4th line should be the same.
