On the second day of gift giving...i see the Pixel does not have any discount....
I really, REALLY hope the OP's assumption is correct, but I really don't think history -- or the current Xfinity promo landscape -- supports this.
History: I have been following Xfinity Mobile and its promos for over two years. They are running some sort of promo all of the time, and they cycle between brands (Apple, Google, Moto, LG, Samsung). I am pretty sure that in that time, there have only been about 3-4 promos (out of, probably, dozens) that were available for existing customers. I seem to recall all but one of them were for Apple, with the lone exception being a Samsung promo about two years ago that only worked on flagships.
Currently: Of the promos listed in the PhoneArena article, three (involving 4 brands) are currently active. Only one (yep, Apple) works for existing customers.
Conclusion: While I certainly will be monitoring, I am not optimistic this deal will work for existing customers. I sincerely hope that I'm wrong.
Only if OP's assumption proves to be true...(and you have one of eligible BYOD phones, or know a workaround)
I am with you on this.

My 3a is still doing just fine but that would be a worthy price and upgrade opportunity I couldn't pass up.

Especially in low light? I need to take a lot of pictures for my work and always indoors where there is no natural sun light

The rep told me they sell nothing but unlocked phones.
