Edit: nvm, apparently you can, I would try resetting it.
While taking out the handle bar and stem, some rubber plug fell out onto the floor and I can't figure out where the hell it came from.
Kids should be happy, wish I got another one.
- You can download segway ninebot app and register to connect with the e-scooter.
- Mine showed 0.3 km usage probably from testing.
- Firmware Update fails at 47%. It supposed to bring better battery optimization and performance, but welp I will take it $222 with 3 year warranty ( I wonder what warranty will cover because this will probably die in 3 years.)
I received 2 scooters. 1 was missing 1 screw and does not beep when turning on and charging like the other scooter. I also had to mess around with the bell to get it to work. One scooter is clearly better than the other but they both look pretty good/new.
Also, one scooter has gray markings for stop and blue for go while the other better scooter has red for stop and black for go. The stop and go stickers are also slightly different between the two.

-Repainted to cover paint chips around battery cage
-Minor paint chips around dashboard gauge; more obvious because contrast silver metal vs black
-Bird sticker to cover up painted Bird logo
Unit syncs to Segway-Ninebot app (iOS). Firmware update fails at 47% like others have reported.
Anyone else able to get these items to work?
1) Double press Power button to switch modes. My unit just turns on the headlight like single press. And yes, I have tried different variations of double press speed with the same result
2) Above the charge port on the battery there is a button with four lights to the right. Pressing the button does nothing. Can anyone else share what happens when they press that button on the battery?

One of mine came today, like new condition, paired it with the app (you have to do this on the app, not your bluetooth settings), but fails to update firmware like others have experienced.
