Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

That's so odd. I know they are refurbs but there must be something we are missing here or not doing. I dont get it either.

But your right, when it boots up, you briefly see the bluetooth icon and others and then it disappears and i have the red S.

BUTTT, i will update this thread right away in a sec. I want to try something. I have no idea why this would make any difference at all but the manual states to fully charge your scooter and then try to pair it. So just as im typing this, it fully charged. Lets see if it pairs now. Ill report back in a couple minutes
Check your 6 pin connector .. mine had a pin broken

No, I think some of us just got unlucky with scooters that cannot be paired. It is the only thing that makes sense at this point.

For some reason, people who can pair keep avoiding answering the question if they always see the Bluetooth icon on the scooter screen. Those of us who cannot pair only see it briefly at startup, and then it disappears.
All 4 of mine show a constant flashing Bluetooth logo until they are connected to the app.

NOPE....fully charged. Powered it off and then back on. Ran the segway ninebot app, searched via bluetooth and can not find the device after multiple attempts.

Would that be the reason wny this isnt working? The things flies and rides perfectly. Mine almost looks brand new, like no one even rode the damn thing.

Thank you for this info. Neither of mine do this which makes sense as to why they don't connect if you see yours blink. Wow, my luck was 0-2 and you were four for four - congrats!

What? I answered you earlier on that when we had a short convo and told you it shows it flashing until it paired with the app.

App comnects fine. Max speed is around 15-16 mph but you can feel that the scooter have more power than that. Hopefully we can find a way to update it but even without it its a steal on $200.

My external battery doesnt light up though but on app it shows i have 2 battery.

The bluetooth shown on startup and then a blinking blutooth shows up everytime. Thw blinking will go away one you open/connect the app.

Whoops. I must have somehow missed that. My bad, and yes, you've been very helpful. I gave you a rep earlier because of it. Smilie

Mine doesn't light up either when I press and hold the button.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Seems like several others have a unit where the battery gauge doesn't work

Mine will not connect to bluetooth, as is the case with many others here. I did notice I had a ride sharing bar code on my handle. Could that be it? Maybe some of us got commercial units, and when being renewed, Bird did something to disable bluetooth.
