scooter boots up, BT symbol only seen for ~1 second, then disappears and only the red (S) remains. Cannot connect to app.


anyone able to resolve this issue ?

Mine arrived, it's awesome. Light wear no big deal, connected to Bluetooth no issue, just can't update firmware yet. Apologize if others have already mentioned how to fix any issues, I've been too busy enjoying the ride!

Do not use the regen hand brake when going downhill fast. It'll fry the control board and render the scooter useless.

Did anyone try this speed hack? I don't have a windows pc but it will be interesting to see if this one works without changing any board/control.

3. With the cursor in the field press Ctrl-Alt-A
4. Press the Write ESC Sn button

After the serial change the max speed was 28 km/h.

Tried pressing/holding the button and doesn't light up anything ... The app shows I have 2 batteries though. The red lights on the external battery light up too when the headlight is on.


It doesn't really matter to me as long as that external battery is actually working. I'm charging it to 100% right now and I'm going to track how many miles I will get on a full charge. Hopefully, it's close to 28miles and that will tell me that both batteries are working fine.
After you charged your scooter to 100% does your turn on automatically? And also the battery indicator blink so it look like it never fully charged to 100%

Received my scooter today and took it out for a ride with less than 50% battery... Wow it is fast. It is a bit faster than my Xiaomi Mi M365. I couldn't catch my wife riding the Bird while I'm on the M365. But the M365 is a lot smoother with the pneumatic tire. What a great deal. Smilie

I'm with you. I read most of them and it appears that if you can't get bluetooth working by holding down the power button, then you have a locked board. It appears this is an inexpensive way of fixing it, but requires soldering, loading in a custom firmware and then modifying. Mine is locked and sure I'd love to hack it, but for now I think I'm happy with 15mph, 12-13mph uphill in my neighborhood (I'm 195lbs). Also, one poster listed all the features with the app and didn't feel like there was anything compelling. For anyone else, if I'm wrong, please let us know step-by-step what you did.
