Cheaper to get 1 year ea subscription And convert to GPU at Microsoft for 4 months gpu. Works out to under $6 per month if you put in code.

You could, but it would be a much worse deal than this. Adding Xbox Gold Live codes to existing GPU subscriptions will convert to less time (12 months Gold = 4 months GPU). You are better off buying a few of these GPU 3 month codes.

Or you can let your GPU expire and downgrade to Live Gold, stack Gold codes and then upgrade to GPU again. This is assuming the 1:1: upgrade conversion still works next year.

I'm with ya. It is frustrating asking for something when someone can't put it in simple terms! Someone in another thread from yesterday did it and that's how I learned. I spent a good two hours trying to figure out everything before I felt comfortable trying it. Smilie

There's no guarantee the 1:1 conversion on upgrading Xbox Live Gold subs to GPU will continue to work for the foreseeable future. You can take the chance and let your GPU expire. I prefer to extend my existing GPU with these 3 months codes and buy them when on sale.

That's because people keep asking the same questions over and over and it gets really tiring replying to every single post. There's plenty of answers if people actually read these threads.
