The set in this thread has a screwdriver as well. From my research, the Farm n Fleet set is the best, followed by the 226 set here. The socket set you posted doesn't have the quick release, which makes it inferior to the sets I mentioned above, IMO.

Obviously, you can make a claim that the 192 set lacks wrenches but I think you can easily find a good wrench set and more complete, even if you have to spend more than the sets that include the limited sizes they give you.

Just a note. I would NOT have these sets sent to your house, if you have a HD nearby. A lot of complaints the tool box gets damaged during transit and can relate of two attempts myself. Send to store is the best way to go.

Seems legit. Looks like it's worth the extra fee bucks over the Fleet Farm set.

I'm sure the toolbox is overall superior quality, however the Fleet Farm set is more complete as far as for the tools, correct?

Still a great deal, thumbs up!

I ordered this Husky 270 piece set the other week for $100: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../309161789

I'm thinking of returning it and ordering this one instead for $20 more. There's less pieces but Dewalt > Husky and the box for Husky sucks.

I'm just an at-home DIY. I don't work on cars or anything but I'd like to have a socket set in case I need it for home repairs.

Please advise.

How does this deal compare to the one from Tractor Supply Co?

Looks like better toolbox with screwdriver for the extra $20 bucks.

Price wise, Husky has the on-sale price like last year, but Dewalt is $30 cheaper, so I go for Dewalt for better sale. Smilie

Ah, thanks a good callout. Will save myself the 50 mile drive and cancel my order and pick up this one that's down the street. Already bought the 270 pc Husky set a couple weeks ago but realized there's a bunch a fillers. It didn't even have a 21mm deep socket for my lug nuts!

This is really nice for those that don't want to keep their socket sets assembled and orderly in their own existing cases. I would much prefer this set over my dewalt 192 set in a bifold case where the sockets are starting to fall out often.

Most of these sets have filler nonsense pieces that don't need to be acquired from a name brand, like allen wrenches, screwdriver bits. It's got the three common size socket wrenches, just make sure the sockets cover the size range you need.

Seems like an easy decision if you already need a set.

Slickdeals fever won out again. Grabbed one for store pickup. I bought a similar set a couple of years ago, and like it (briefcase style case). This will add (I hope) to the set I have.

Figure I can't easily return if needed.
