Come on Costco!! You can do better! Last year it was 540$ rebate for an iphone 6s!! Now it's 270 rebate for an iPhone SE (2020). Not worth with all the other deals going around! You can just get an unlocked phone from Apple by doing the Cricket Deal deal for 2 phones and trade it into Apple for 210$ each.

If you have a newer phone with a better trade in value it's still free. They just subtract the value of your trade in so if you have a newer phone it can be. At least this is how I understand it.

So if i am buying a promax 128gb is this the breakup if I trade in a 6s phone using upgrade option

$1099- $110(costco discount) + 117 device tax (at 7% sales tax) = $1065

6s trade in credit $194

Costco gift card is $100

So total

1065-$194-100 = $771

If you go through Costco, you're not getting bill credits and locked in for 24/30 mos. Some people prefer buying the phone outright

I called T-Mo and talked to care yesterday and the guy told me the same thing. He said the only deal for existing customers would be to trade my 8 in for $415 towards a pro max. He said this multiple times even after I asked him to check the mini deal, and I was just about to hang up until I pulled up the press release from T-Mobile.

Told him about the press release on their own website and magically he ordered the 12 mini for me. I don't think it was malicious but bring point them towards that website and you'll be okay.

These current deals suck compared to previous Costco T-Mobile iPhone deals. I would like to blame it on the pandemic and supply issues, but I think the smoking hot deals are simply a long gone distant memory.

That's Ok, I will gladly take the free line offer, a $200 BYOD Costco card, a $100 T-mobile port-in rebate, and keep my iPhone 11 for the foreseeable future. Maybe one day a real deal will eventually surface for the iPhone 12 or 13 at Costco rather than this garbage deal.

when we buy with the instant credit of $200, we are buying like a unlocked phone ?. we can stay with att for a month and get out?.as of now i am with lyca.
