This might be the most loving I can get. I was hoping for a Costco promotion to trade in my 7 (they took full credit on 6S last year for an 11 for a mastercard rebate), but this year isn't looking too good for deals.
that's what i thought so i jump ship to do the free iphone 12 mini promotion

Does anyone know if I can add two lines to get the XR phones, and then cancel my existing lines once I get the two new phones?
This is the response I received from Sprint: The $0/month deal on the iPhone XR you're referring to needs to be on the new line and you can't cancel any existing line in order to receive the credits for the iPhone XR. If you'll cancel the existing lines, the credits for the iPhone XR on the new lines will stop.

Ive been with Sprint for 11 years. So fark you Sprint/T-Mobile

cancel the lines first, confirm they have been canceled. then proceed.

Short answer = No.

Sprint is already owned by T-Mobile, just not fully rebranded yet, so you would not be a new customer or switching to T-Mobile. If you ported your number to a different carrier it would have to be away from TMO for a longer period to qualify as a new line, and get related promos. Otherwise it would be a "winback" or subscriber who decided against canceling for whatever reason. I think it is 90 days for TMO... maybe 60? Hope that helps you decide what to do!
I didn't even think about it like that! Thank you for bringing it up!
I have an older prepaid line that shouldn't be from the T-mobile family that I might try to use instead...

Don't trust TMobile, they will fark you up. The 24month credit is a trick. They do everything not to give u the credit.
Nope. I just talked to the TForce rep about my FE credit. They adjusted my account and I can also see the credit as part of the credits. Looks like they're good on their promises to me and I've been with tmo for 7 years.X

I just confirmed the free iPhone XR is NOT Offered if you're on a military plan. I called and spoke to three different reps just to confirm. The free add a line is definitely NOT offered to people in the military plan. I've already made that mistake once.
Damn... We don't get anything. Regular plans pay less than us from the free lines they've accumulated and on top of that, they get these great phone deals...

Meh. Add a line... bill credits... and an outdated iPhone. Last year T-Mobile gave away an iPhone 8 with fewer hoops by offering a full-price rebate.

I miss the days when Costco would match the offers with a full-price rebate.

They will ask you for account and pin. Account # is the google voice number and pin is the voicemail pin.
The steps would then be.
1.port over number to google voice (48 to 96 hours to port.
2.cancle account with current phone provider.
3.open new account with Tmobile and ask them to port over from google voice number.

Will they allow this for multiple lines and numbers? Thanks.

My experience has been "will" not "may".

Tax on pre-credit price due at sale. Limited time offer; subject to change. Qualifying credit & service required. If you've cancelled lines in past 90 days, you may need to reactivate them first. $10 SIM card, and, in stores & on customer service calls, $20 assisted or upgrade support charge may be required. If you cancel your line before receiving 24 bill credits, you may owe up to the full value of your device (e.g., $499.99 – iPhone XR 64 GB); if cancelling your account, you can contact us first to instead make discounted monthly balance payments. Up to $500 via bill credits; must be active and in good standing to receive credits; allow 2 bill cycles. Max 2/account. May not be combinable with some offers or discounts.
