Took me a while to find a straight comparison of this tablet to the Fire hd 10.

I bought the smart tab M8 with dock, expecting it to be a more flexible alternative to the Google nest hub.

It was slow to respond, the low percentage of the time it actually did.
Any reason to expect this to be any better?

i hope you are not being sarcastic. quick search shows that screen does support active pen, amazon has couple hits. i have flex 5 with active pen, it works fine (dont use it much it is exciting in the begining then it just sits there).

It's an Android tablet not Chromebook. Android uses Android OS. Chromebook uses Chrome OS. You can both go download the Google classroom app, zoom, and Google meet but only Chrome OS has desktop interface.

If you want an Android tablet, I think you should consider a Samsung Tab S6 lite. If you want a Chrome OS tablet then you should go for a Lenovo Duet.

bit more detailed comparison, i see CPU, GPU and RAM speed being better in samsung, making it more responsive, low-high end tablet, this is important, so will stay with Samsung.

Tab s6 Lite? Isn't that double the price of this? Why wouldn't you recommend using this as a kid's Android tablet?
