"Keep in mind, despite having an octa-core CPU, the lack of Cortex A-73 cores makes this a mainstream SoC at best, which fits the price point well. Other devices in the same class like the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) have more raw CPU power due to another component choice. In practice you won't see the same difference as clearly as in synthetic benchmarks and once you compare their behavior in daily use, the Lenovo should feel better than the Fire because 2 vs 4 GB memory makes a world of difference."
It was slow to respond, the low percentage of the time it actually did.
Any reason to expect this to be any better?

Seemed like the smart tab begrudgingly played the Google Assistant role, even though that was my primary intent for it.
I punted on using a Lenovo smart tab for the kitchen google hub, went with the JBL live view to upgrade from the nest hub, won't need to use the JBL charge for playing music.
I have new Fire HD10 from prime day, so didn't really need another tablet, but wanted something to use for kitchen searches and then pick it up when desired.

They're back in stock, but at over twice the price. Has anyone managed to get them to match this doorbuster price that was apparently only in stock for two hours on the day AFTER they advertised it as a Cyber Monday doorbuster that was supposed to go on sale at 9AM that day?
And now, even the slightly more expensive ($140) Alexa version with half the storage that I might have settled on has been out of stock all week.
