---------------
[EDIT: Deal looks DEAD-ish, after-coupon price (at 256GB storage) is now...
$954+tax as of 2020-12-03, 0300 UTC (=2020-12-02 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific)
$999+tax as of 2020-12-01, 2330 UTC (6:30pm Eastern / 3:30pm Pacific)
The hp.com site is still running some "Cyber Week" promos, so maybe the deal pricing will come back sometime this week, but right now the pre-coupon base price reduction is only $250-off
$200-off, instead of the $330-off that it reached on Cyber Monday.]
---------------
The hp.com store dropped the price on Cyber Monday for this 13.3" OLED HP Spectre x360 Windows laptop so the price is now a little better than the recent hot slickdeal post, using the same 10%-off ($999 min. cart) coupon code
10STACKBFCM21:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14602612-new-hp-spectre-x360-13t-aw200-13-3-fhd-oled-touch-i7-1165g7-16gb-ddr4-512gb-pcie-ssd-thunderbolt-4-win10h-1034-99?v=1
The pre-tax price is now $942 instead of $1035 for that same config (where the PCIe NVMe M.2 drive was upgraded from 256 GB to 512 GB for +$63).
4-hour "Doorbuster" flash sale until 2200 UTC (5pm Eastern or 2pm Pacific) lowers the pre-coupon price by an extra $30 (hp lists it at "$300 savings" instead of "$270"). I think this is the best Cyber Monday deal that will be offered for this 13.3" HP Spectre.
Doorbuster flash sale ended, but the $30 extra savings remained, so it looks like the full deal is still on (as of 2020-12-01 0130 UTC).
- Tiger Lake 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 with integrated GPU (iGPU) Intel Iris Xe Graphics (96 EU).
- 16GB RAM is soldered.
- Comes with HP Rechargeable MPP2.0 Tilt Pen stylus included in base price.
- Free shipping.
UPDATE late 2020-11-30: Coupon code no longer working for sub-$999 cart, so you have to get at least $20 of upgrades (cheapest option is to upgrade to Poseidon Blue color, or add a >=$20 USB-C adapter, or upgrade storage to 512GB)
Additional upgrade options (extra prices detailed are the final pre-tax price increase, after 10%-off coupon):
- Chassis color: Base price is "Natural silver" color, add +$9 for "Nightfall black" or +$18 for "Poseidon blue" color options.
- Screen resolution: FHD (1920 x 1080) OLED touchscreen can be upgraded for +$135 to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), but this shortens battery life ~2 hours and 13.3" diagonal screen is small anyway.
- Storage: 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD can be upgraded to 512 GB (+$63), 1 TB (+$126), or 2 TB (+$378)
Some cb online shopping portals offer up to an extra ~12% money back from hp.com on top of this deal price, if you click through them to the hp.com store.

Good price though
Good price though
Yeah they've been destroying Intel.
For an ultra portable like this, you are probably not going to be doing any heavy lifting performance-wise (the 13 inch chassis is simply too small to effectively dissipate heat from sustained workloads), thus the multi-core score advantage that Ryzens have is less meaningful.
If anyone sees a similar build and price on a 15" laptop, please do share. I've been trying different configurations on HP.com with a minimum of the 11th Gen i7 processor, and can't find any good prices.
Thanks,
Tofu Vic
You can get the 15 spectre with 4K oled touch for $1100. Seems about right. Although, I still think these prices are a little steep still as a lot of competitor laptops are about the same price.

Don't know about warranty and hope I don't find out but I got the deal from bestbuy which is different specs but same specter line and build quality is excellent. Nothing cheap or poor quality about the one I got. Pleasantly surprised tbh as this is on par with Apple IMO
Not to mention it makes you want to get an OLED tv, too.
