There was another bundle that had the R625FA (it's expired now). Any advantage waiting for the R625 to go on sale again or are the R26FA just as good? This deal has the better center FWIW.
Any differences between the R-26FA and the R625FA?
The R-625FA is the newer revision of the R-26FA; essentially the same in terms of speakers, only difference audio wise the R-26FA has a front firing port, while the 625 has a rear firing; will you hear anything different? Probably not. There are some non-audio changes. I believe the R-625FA has magnetic speaker coverings, while the R-26FA have little plugs that hold it in place (those can break over time, so magnets are a solid upgrade). The feet are cosmetically different but seem to be more less the same.
I have a JBL bar 9.1 and I still can return it my mid Jan. Should I return and get this instead?
This will sound much better than the JBL bar...but the JBL 9.1 is an all in plug and play product where you dont need a receiver and wires, where this is just a part of full AV system. If you can spend the time to understand the AV receiver, can run wires, have the space, and get buy in from significant others/family, then an AV system will outperform a soundbar. So you'll need to spend another $400-500 dollars on a receiver and wiring to get this working.

thanks for your prompt response! I guess never mind then! too much wires and new stuff to learn easily itmidiates me! I'm happy with my JBL bar then.
What do you mean? I want to know if this is the best upgrade from energy take classic 5.1 for under 1000$?
The Klipsch Reference line is their lowest end full sized speaker set, while the Reference Premier is the next step up (RF is then above RP). Most audiophiles or people into the AV scene would tell you to skip the Reference line entirely and start with the RPs, which are generally 2-3x the price. Reference line is great for people who want something better than a soundbar but dont want to spend multi-thousands of dollars on speakers; they are great speakers, just not as good as more expensive ones (which isn't always the case with speakers, but it is here). So the center speaker in this is actually an upgrade over the rest of the speakers in this set in terms of quality; and normally that would be the first speaker you'd want to upgrade. Overall this is very good deal, just a bit odd that there are three different lines of speakers included together (discontinued Reference (R-26FA), current Reference (R-41M and R-120SW), and Reference Premier (RP-250C)). I got the Costco pack over a Adoroma pack only due to the return policy of Costco, but Id say this is a technically better deal.
I have a smaller area of about 20' x 12' that I am trying to setup home theater in. Is this a good setup? Also, has anybody seen any deals on AVR-S960H? It sounds like the next generation receiver is the way to go based on the HDMI 2.1 talk and Yamaha receiver issues I read in other discussions. TIA

That's just odd. Seems these bundles are scraping the barrel now.
