I have a pair of ax2 and love them. I got a pair of the ax3 several months ago and my feet hurt after a while. Im not sure what they changed but there is a definite difference. Both pairs are broken in well.

Great supportive shoe for winter or wet hiking trail runs. Stiff midsole.
I have a pair 1yr old held up great.
Would recommend insoles not a very cushioned shoe.
Soles are goodyear
