WD - Easystore 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive - Blue
Originally $40, now $13.
Seems like a good price. Amazon doesn't seem to sell it.

Transfer/write speed varied from 38 MB/sec to 43 MB/sec

The sustained write speed was 23 MB/sec.

After having an entire box of flash drives from a little over one year ago fail on me (every one of them either failed or had data loss except for the sandisk ones which still work), I am looking for other kind of semi-long term storage. Are the spinners better than these flash based storage?

read speeds are definitely USB 3.0 , write speed of up to 40 MB/s is still USB 3.0 (>24MB)
