Not true. Just reach out to @tmobilehelp on Twitter via DM with the imei and they'll unlock it for you. I just did it last week. No special approach required. The unlock was successful in 8 hours.

One can do the amazon for like an $85 reduction.... $465 is still expensive. With tax, it comes to $513 for me. Way more than the A715G deal. The ghost touch issues was a big problem for the FE too.

They key is to stack a great trade-in and a great promotion discount deal together. This Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and the Pixel 4a 5G (google fi) deals standout for great bang for your buck.... +300 THUMBS UP deals last month. Google Fi had issues with trade-ins but I had success with my trade-ins with both Google and Samsung.

When I switched over every salesman told me the same thing....I've now been with tmobile for 5 years and never had any issues and more often than not I have better service than my friends using other carriers. IMO Pixel 4A 5G (android 11) is far better than A71. You can enjoy faster native android , better pictures (s/w processing is great) and ofcourse andriod updates for 3 yrs .

Of course it's a better phone, but it's more than twice the cost. I would take the 4A 5G in a heartbeat for the same price.
