Is that a good brand? Going to live in CO and stocking up on warm apparel
Never used it before but ordered one based on the reviews. They say its made in USA and comes with double lining and stitch for added durability.
This is accurate. I've had a berne heavy jacket for about 20 years. For a time I forgot it was berne and thought it was Carhartt. Looks and lasts just like them.
I have no idea if they are still that quality.
When you get there you'll see that everyone is wearing Carhartt, and there's a good reason for that. Several actually. It's a little bit status symbol (among people that work outdoors, or play in the cold), but they've earned their reputation. They also charge for that reputation.
