Amazon's developers are the absolute worst. It's like they pull the cheapest idiots they can find to duct tape half assed solutions together. When you "pause" a kids tablet, it rarely works, and certainly won't work until their current video is over; when you set one kid's access and time limits, but not an older sibling's, they can just choose the sibling's profile (no way to say which profiles can login to which devices), and while they let your kids fill their tablets to the brim, they give also give them no option to clear up space. You have to log in as a parent, to a tablet that can barely function because there is no available swap space, and randomly purge whatever Amazon thinks your kid can do without. Don't get me started on the inappropriate content they claim is safe for your small children.

Using the provided link, I was able to renew an existing subscription for the $19.99 plus tax. I clicked on and selected the 1-yr plan, confirmed my renewal date increased by a year and ended up reviewing my "digital" orders — confirming the $21.xx charge. Good deal.

The only thing I don't like about this is it makes it too easy for kids to download new content to their kindle. Then they complain about full storage.

Amazon really messed up with the whole profile settings. It disables basic things like voice commands and the whole setup is confusing - when are you removing it from the device vs the whole profile in general.

Then so many things becomes disabled under the kids profile it ends up being easier just to revert to full access and password the purchasing option

...and this is coming from someone who has about 15 echo devices, 10 stick/cubes, 10 or so tablets and plenty of google home/minis to compare it too as well

Nonetheless i signed up for this for $20 as the storybook/audible feature might be worth it for that alone

Its good but my kids seem to just watch Frozen movies over and over again Christmas Chronicles and random stuff on Youtube kids now.
